One deck has survived the test of time, one deck to win countless tournaments and one deck to win the standard format. That deck is the ULTIMATE Seismitoad EX Bats. Some would say Seismitoad EX Bats was crippled in the move to the standard format, but I'm here to rally that claim. Seismitoad EX is back!

Pokémon:

  • 4 Seismitoad EX FFI
  • 4 Zubat PHF
  • 3 Golbat PHF
  • 2 Crobat PHF
  • 2 Shaymin EX RS
Trainers:
  • 4 Muscle Band
  • 1 Head Ringer
  • 4 Ultra Ball
  • 1 Enhanced Hammer
  • 3 Crushing Hammer
  • 4 VS. Seeker
  • 4 Puzzle Of Time
  • 3 Trainers' Mail
  • 4 Super Scoop Up
  • 1 Judge
  • 1 Giovanni's Scheme
  • 1 AZ
  • 1 Lysandre
  • 1 Xerosic
  • 4 Professor Sycamore
  • 1 Silent Lab
Energy: 7
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
  • 3 Water Energy
Strategy:

Now how is this superior to other Toad decks? Well, first of all, this is one of the first Toad Bats deck I've seen in the standard format, and I think that this has the potential no other toad in standard has. In the most recent set BP, they released a Garbodor holo with Garbotoxin which may bring that deck back BUT that deck was only good with the laser which is one thing we don't have in this format. With Toad Bats you can have a steady damage output that other toad decks simply don't have.

There are 61 one cards in this deck, but you listed the enhanced hammer twice, so without the second it will be 60 cards.

Could you please explain why this list is superior to other seismitoad/bat decks?
I cannot see anything new or mindblowing in this list... >.<

The difference is that it uses puzzle of time. Not sure my mind is blown, but this definitely gives it a boost.

It seems just like a shell of what it is in expanded... The lasers are a huge factor of the deck, along with the Rock Guard. The additional damage is what really helped the deck out. I guess you could try to play it with Bursting Balloon.
