Expanded Seismitoad EX/Garbodor

I have been wanting to make an expanded deck for a while now and I finally decided on a Seismitoad EX/Garbodor deck. Here is my current deck list.

Pokemon: 13
3 Trubbish
2 Garbodor(Garbotoxin)
1 Garbodor(Trashalanche)
4 Seismitoad EX
1 Tapu Lele GX
2 Shaymin EX

Trainers: 40

Items
3 Crushing Hammer
1 Enhanced Hammer
2 Fighting Fury Belt
2 Float Stone
4 Hypnotoxic Laser
1 Rock Guard(Ace Spec)
2 Super Scoop Up
1 Field Blower
1 Super Rod
4 Ultra Ball
4 Vs Seeker

Supporters
1 Ghetsis
2 Lysandre
2 N
4 Professor Sycamore
1 Shadow Triad
1 Team Flare Grunt
1 Xerosic
1 Karen
1 Acerola

Stadium
3 Virbank City Gym

Energy: 7

4 Double Colorless Energy
1 Water Energy
2 Rainbow Energy

This is a fairly standard list except for a couple of questionable changes. I thought I would try running a Trashalanche Garbodor to assist late game when they already trashed their items. I want to run 4 Crushing Hammer but I haven't been able to find space. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for reminding me. I switched out the Prism Energies for Rainbow Energies.

As one who plays Seismitoad EX many times, as well as against different Toad deck variations, I found that the Toad decks that ran 3-5 Water energy out-performed those deck variations that could not execute Toad's Grenade Hammer attack. Currently, you need to hit "big" numbers beyond 180 HP (like in the day when Toad first hit the scene) given all the 200+ HP Pokémon there are now.

IMO, either Computer Search or Dowsing Machine would be more effective than Rock Guard, especially since opponents can easily "get around" it.

Further, your success hinges a lot on successful coin flips given the Hammers and Super Scoop Ups you're running. To enhance your deck's "strength", have you considered running Puzzles of Time?

Inevitably, benching Shaymin EX(s) will likely become a liability near end-game when your opponent is looking to get 2 more prizes... Have you considered running 1 Parallel City in order to remove unwanted/unneeded Pokémon from your bench?

Suggested deck changes for your consideration:

-1 Shaymin EX - I'm finding 1 Shaymin EX (along with 1 Tapu Lele GX) is quite sufficient with "strong" card-draw support
-1 Hypnotoxic Laser - 3 should be sufficient
-1 Rock Guard - "weak" ACE Spec
-2 Super Scoop Up
-1 Professor Sycamore - 3 should be sufficient with addition of Colress and Puzzles of Time
-1 Ghetsis - too situational
-1 Virbank City Gym

+1 Computer Search (I think this particular ACE Spec is better for this deck) or Dowsing Machine
+1 Colress - additional, "strong" card-draw support
+4 Puzzle of Time - to recover discarded resources, especially Hammers or Lasers
+1 Parallel City
+1 W - more needed energy

I hope you find these comments helpful.

Thank you for the advice. Here are the changes I am going to make.

-1 Ghetsis
-1 Trubbish
-1 Garbodor(Trashalanche)
-2 Rainbow Energy
-1 Professor Sycamore

+2 Water Energy
+1 Crushing Hammer
+1 Super Scoop Up
+1 Colress
+1 Parallel City

I have decided to drop the idea of Trashalanche Garbodor, so I dropped the extra Trubbish, Garbodor, and Prism Energies. I think that your right about Ghetsis being too situational. Because I am running 2 Shaymin and a Tapu Lele I don't need 4 Professor Sycamore. I added 2 Water Energy to occasionally get the Grenade Hammer off to finish a game. I added a Crushing Hammer because the disruption kills your opponent. I am now running 3 Super Scoop Up and 1 Acerola to up the consistency of that move. The Colress is killer because so many decks just fill their bench up. I added a Parallel City because it can get the Shaymin's and Lele's of my bench. I think you are forgetting the point of Seismitoad EX a little bit. I play the Rock Guard because they can't Field Blower it off. They have to use Xerosic and they can't Lele or Vs Seeker for it because I have them under Quaking Punch. Thanks again for the advice. Also I just found this and I think it could help both of our decks.
