Strategy:

This is my first deck garage thread, so please come with any criticisms you have! This deck isn't meant to be terribly competitive, so keep that in mind. This Palkia promo was the only card in Legendary Shine Collection that caught my attention when the scans came out. I thought it had some potential, even with a fairly high cost/low damage attack. The strategy of this deck is to deny your opponent their energy throughout the course of the game using Cross Slicer, which, for [W][W][C], does 80 damage and stops your opponent from attaching an energy to the defending pokemon during their next turn. This might seem like the cost is too high, but with Seismitoad and hammers you can deny your opponent a lot of options during the first few turns while you set up a Palkia. Some kind of acceleration would be really nice, but I can't think of anything that would work in Standard, sadly. You want to start EVERY game with Seismitoad, so I run 4 copies. I needed a bit of extra space, and Palkia is easy to get out with 4 Ultra Ball, 3 Shaymin, 2 Octillery and a Pokemon Fan Club, so I only run 3. Now for the meat of the strategy: Your goal at the start of the game is to get out a Seismitoad with a DCE, deny your opponent their items with Quaking Punch, and deny them of their energy with Hammers and Xerosic/Team Flare Grunt, while setting up a Palkia with the help of Shaymin and Octillery. Then, once you've got a Palkia ready, use Cross Slicer to keep your opponent from attacking you and take the game! I haven't had much time to test this deck yet, but I'm really keen to get some help with it, so again, critique away! Thanks for taking the time to read it, and I can't wait to hear what people think of this idea!

If by acceleration you are referring to energies, you could use archie's blastoise which is legal in standard format.

You could also use Brigette instead of pokemon fan club as it gets you 3 basic or 1 EX out.

The rest of the deck looks pretty nice :)

A problem I foresee is your can still attach energy to the bench, and if he/she only uses basic energy with these attachments, you have only four cards to deal with these energy while they are on the bench (crushing hammer). AND those cards rely on a coin flip to work. Also, you only have one retreat aid in float stone/Zorark, and only one copy of them. If one of the three cards needed is prized, that leaves your Seismitoads as juicy targets for lysandre. While I don't have a fix for the first problem, I would suggest adding at least one switch, maybe two, if you can fit them.

Side note: Both of your main attackers are water type, yet no rough seas?

The rest of the deck looks pretty nice :)
I'll second that

I would recommend adding some of the new splash energy from break point when it comes out. What it does is when the water Pokemon this is attached to gets knocked out, put that Pokemon and all cards attached to it in your hand. (Your opponent still takes the prizes) Another thing I would recommend is putting in dive balls instead of ultraballs. I would also take out the sky fields for the rough seas. I also think that the energy count is a little low, since your main attacker uses 3 energies and you only have 5 bacic in the whole deck. Just my thoughts and opinions and I hope I helped! :D

I've read your acelleration issue:
why don't add two compressors and a lapras from the basic XY set?
With the first attack, seafaring (Only 1 Water) , you can flip a coin up to three times, and attach a basic Water energy from your discard pile to a pokèmon for each head! :)
And the compressors serves to discard the energy!

but add at least another water energy ;)

Another thing to add would be Manaphy ex, bc of his ability. Pretty much the old darkrai, but water type
By the way, has anyone tried this deck? Just curious to see how consistent it is
