charizard rules!
Member
2 mewtwo EX
4 piplup
4 empoleon
3 phanpy HS
3 donphan prime
pokemon 19

1 max potion
1 super rod
2 rocky helmet
2 switch
2 junipers
2 N
3 catchers
3 pokemon communications
3 junk arms
3 collectors
4 rare candies
4 PONTs
T/S/S 27

2 {C}{C}
6{W}
6{F}
energy 14

strategy: empoleon main attacker with donphan as zekeels and darkrai counter. mewtwo for mewtwos and other EX's. no prinplups because they are easy catcher bait. empoleon's ability is helpful for draw power. rocky helmet for mostly donphan to deal more damage and his ability is any attack done to him is reduced for 20. Max potion is to heal since most of the pokemon only use 1 energy.

I am going to play this at my local battle roads next weekend and if it works out I will play this at nationals. please comment:) This was an empoleon/mewtwo/terrikeon deck but went for donphan because it is way more easier to set up.

RE: seniors: empoleon-mewtwo-terrakion

I'd
-2 switch (I think 2 may be enough)
-2 PETM (just takes up the supporter for the turn and doesnt help much)
-1 FSL (I'd rather use super rod)
-1 crushing hammer (I think 2 may be about enough)
+1 super rod
+1 catcher (at least three is needed ImO)
+1 junk arm (I think at least 3 may be needed)
+2 N (more draw power is needed. Good hand refresher)
+either 1 more N or another PONT

RE: seniors: empoleon-mewtwo-terrakion

-4 Prism (I think you should replace these with Fighting because Empoleon can't use them and because fightings can't get lost removered.Fightings can also be gotten by super rod)
-2 PONTs (I think N is much better in this Deck because its disruptive, plus you already have the built in draw support of Empoleon)
-3 Pokémon communication (I prefer Ultra ball because you have the draw support from Empoleon which can allow you to get more cards to discard)
-2 switch (I think 2 is fine. You also have junk arm)
-2 lost remover (I don't find to be really necessary)
-3 crushing hammer (same as above)
-2 elms training method (if you run Ultra Ball, it can get you the pokemon you need without using a supporter for the turn.)
-1 Mewtwo EX (Empoleon can take on mewtwos just fine. Mewtwo needs six energies to KO him and Empoleon can two shot him.)
+1 Cleffa (a good starter and a nice free-retreater)
+4 N (said above)
+3 Ultra Ball (said above)
+1 junipers (more consistency)
+1 rare candies (helps you get out empoleons quicker)
+1 junk arms (Needed to reuse already used trainers)
+1 pokemon catcher (I think three would be better)
+2 Super Rod (you'll be going through your deck pretty fast with empoleon, so you can use these to slow the deck-out process and to get back empoleons/terrakions/energies)
+1 Water Energy (make sure you can have enough energies for empoleon and terrakion)
+3 Fighting Energy (better than Prism in my opinion)
+1 Max Potion ( I think it would work well in this deck for healing Empoleon because he only uses one energy which can easily be replaced)
Hope I helped :)

RE: seniors: empoleon-mewtwo-terrakion

thank you for your comments:) i will try these ideas out right away:)

I think I would replace Donphan with Terrakion because you are not hurting ur own pokemon with earthquake and it would take less space to run terrakion and he hits A LOT harder, but its up to you.
-3-3 Donphan
+ 3 EXP Share
+3 Terrakion NVI
Hope I helped :p

Well hello there! :D

I ran this deck for a while, so here's how we're going to make this list more consistant:
-2 Mewtwo EX (Unnecessary, since your other attackers already beat Mewtwo EX's pretty easily.)
-2 DCE (No more Mewtwo EX.)
-2 {F} (You don't have as many Donphans as you do Empoleons, so you don't need to have as many energies.)
-1 {W} (We're going to decrease the overall energy and lubricate your energy line with a Rainbow.)
-2 N (Not very good in Stage 2 decks. We'll be adding a different supporter later.)
-1 Catcher (Have to make room for more consistency cards.)

+1 Rainbow ("Lubricate" the energy line.)
+1 Collector (You want it in the starting hand, so you need 4.)
+1 Junk Arm (Best card in format. You need to max out for max consistency.)
+1 Pokemon Communication (More pokemon search the better.)
+3 Sage's Training (The easiest way to get those pesky Rare Candies and thin the deck. A must-have for Stage 2 decks.)
+1 Juniper (More for more draw power and more consistency on drawing into them.)
+1 Super Rod (You'll be doing a lot of discarding with this deck, and you can use this to even up the lines you have in your deck/hand. I.e. if a Phanpy was prized, you'd fish out 2 Phanpy and a Donphan, making the lines in play even again.)
+1 Max Potion (You need this to stay ahead in the prize race.)

Hope this helps!
