Basic idea is to get the lock going early with 'Tomb or Gastly. Build up Dusknoir for consistent draw. Dusknoir's two attacks help as well. Because "Shadow Command" damages Dusknoir, it can then spread n' snipe with "Damage Even." It's second attack, "Night Spin," counters low energy decks like Kingdra, Gyarados, and Jumpluff. Gengar can finish off Pokemon that were not killed by "Damage Even." If all of my opponent's Pokemon have damage on them, due to "Damage Even" or Dusknoir's LV.X's Power, "Ectoplasm," I can use "Compound Pain" to clean up. Thanks in advance!

Haha, my apologies, I totally forgot! Added.

Well come here 6-Dimension ^^
I think you won't use three Uxies never... take out one of them for a fourth Spiritomb, great for start and against SP decks.
Take out also a Candy for another Broken Time-Space, with GengarPlume and his trainer lock is very dangerous use a lot of trainers.
Finally, sincerely I don't like the Cyrus's Conspiracy here. Why don't you put 2x Judge or 2x Looker's Investigations? They're great against SP decks, expecially in early game.
So:
- 1 Uxie
- 1 Candy
- 2 Cyrus
+ 1 Spiritomb
+ 1 BTS
+ 2 Looker's/Judge

I was using the Cyrus solely for getting energy, but I think I like all those changes, so I'll test it a bit then update. Thanks!

consider cynthias, because you usually dont mind/want your pokemon to get KO'ed (dusknoir and gengar)

Huh, you're right. That's an excellent suggestion. i worry about too many Supporters; they could turn into dead draws if I've already played one.

That list actually looks pretty good. Nice job!

However, a few changes I would make:

-2 Rare Candy
-2 Cyrus's Conspiracy
-1 Professor Oak's New Theory (3 is a good amount to use)
-1 Broken Time-Space
-1 Uxie

+2 Looker's Investigation OR Judge (I personally like Looker's more, but it's really just a personal preference.)
+2 Copycat OR Cynthia's Feelings (a pretty amazing card vs SP. With trainer lock at the beginning, they're probably gonna have a large hand. There's also Cynthia's Feelings, which is a guaranteed 8 cards after a KO. Once again, personal preference.)
+1 Uxie LV.X (as I've been saying in other threads, 3 Uxie will most likely clog your bench. Uxie LV.X will provide you somewhat of a draw engine throughout the whole game)
+1 Spiritomb OR Chatot (always a good idea to run 4 Spiritomb in a Gengar deck - however, you *do* have Gastly for trainer lock too. I personally like Chatot in this upcoming format. Your choice, though.)

I definitely like the 3 Warp Energy. Keep them in there! Best of luck!

I just got deck advice from the kid who got 3rd place in Worlds. I FEEL SOOO FANCY.
I'm afraid I don't have an Uxie X right now, if I get it I will definitely put it in. I feel like 2 Candy with only 2 BTS will slow me down a bit, but I'll test. Thanks so much!

haha no problem. I've found that by using Spiritomb, I hardly have a need for Rare Candy. Maybe cut out one, because 3 is definitely enough. If you ever need more advice, feel free to PM me.

- 2 Copycat
+ 1 Bebe's Search (useful against trainer lock decks)
+ 1 Professor Oak's New Theory

Now I think your deck list is perfect. Maybe take out a Communication for another card, for increase the match-up against trainer lock decks.
