Pokemon:

  • 4 Snivy
    1 Servine
    4 Serperior BCR
    2 Trubbish
    2 Garbodor
    2 Miltank
    1 Mewtwo EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums:

  • 4 Sycamore
    3 N
    3 Colress
    2 Lysandre
    2 Skyla
    1 Pokemon Fan Club

    4 Rare Candy
    3 Ultra Ball
    2 Muscle Band
    2 Float Stone
    2 Switch
    2 Bicycle
    2 Professors Letter
    1 Training Center
Energy:

  • 7 Grass Energy
    4 DCE

Strategy:
Serperior is going to be your main attacker. You hit for 70, and then 90 from Muscle Band and then heal 30. Quite a slow knockout route but the job is still done. Garbodor is in there to shut down abilities, and as this deck doesnt really need abilities, so why not shut other decks down. So yeah. Quite a good deck I must say after playtesting. Some losses here and there.

RE: Serperior/Garbodor

Why are you using abilities in a deck that wants to shut down abilities?
Probably doesn't need 2 Servines (1 is good; get an extra Miltank). Needs a 4th Serperior.
Needs more Fan Club to get basic Pokémon on the field.
Professor's Letter/Energy Retrieval may help with that little energy.

I fail to see the complaint there. The Boundaries Crossed Serperior is an entirely different card than the one from BW and LTR.

He/She was right, as I had a Buffalo and a Serperior with the Royal Heal ability, and then I cut that and the Buffalo for some cards.

RE: Serperior/Garbodor

The biggest problem with this deck is speed. It's a very slow deck without ANY energy acceleration and most decks utilise energy acceleration quick. ATM, since you're going for a budget, that does mean Virizon EX is out of the question.

For me, I'd probably change the attack to be Flygon FUF. Reason being is that Flygon's first attack allows you to attach all basic Energy in your hand onto all your Pokemon however you like. So that'll be a better option than Serperior plus you don't auto-lose against Fire/Pyroar decks. You'll need a better tank than Miltank thanks to the amount of Fighting decks out there. A good option would be to snag the Kyurem EX from the Plasma Blast or Kyurem from LTR/NVI/Promo. Double Colourless for 30/20 plus more if it gets damaged.

Here's my list if you're doing a budget.

Pokemon - 16 total
4 Trapinch
2 Vibrava
4 Flygon
2 Kyurem EX/2 Kyurem - your choice out of the two
2 Trubbish
2 Garbador

Trainers - total 34
3 Professor Sycamore
4 N
2 Colress
3 Skyla
2 Lysandre
1 Pokemon Fan Club

3 Ultra Ball
3 Rare Candy
2 Professor's Letter
3 Float Stone
2 Muscle Band
2 Energy Retrieval
2 Training Centre
2 Switch

Energy - total 10
3 Grass
4 Fighting
3 Double Colourless

RE: Serperior/Garbodor

Looking at it, the deck is quite good, and Flygon really does do the same thing except better, so thanks for the list, and I will tinker with it if I need to, or just leave it be.
