Coming off of my Serperior/Reuniclus post, I decided to try out Darkrai with the two and see how it works. I played one match and took a 3 prize lead by turn 4. Here's my list:

Keep in mind that this is the first modified-legal deck I've completely made from scratch. With that in mind, how is this deck for a beginner? I'm not expecting it to win Worlds or anything, but I think I didn't make an awful deck, necessarily. The synergy is there, IMO. All criticism greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!
 
Hey, I'm brand new to the site, but I have some experience with the TCG.

At a glace this looks difficult to set up, but you have done a good job of designing a deck that makes it work.

This is about as good as this tech is going to get.

Garbodor (DRE) and Sigilyph (DRE) will be a problem, and you are bound to meet at least one of them relatively frequently. I would drop the two Super Rods and throw in two Giant Capes (you lack Eviolite, which is a major problem for most decks, but the good news is that GC can be put on any pokemon), so you can spread more damage and take more damage. I know at least 1 Devolution Spray will make its way into most decks, that's always annoying to a deck that runs two Stage 2s, but oh well. You could get rid of all the Cherens and add 1 N, 1 Juniper, and add 1 Pokemon Catcher- that's what I would do immediately. You NEED Tool Scrapper for Garbodor (DRE), so remove 1 Pokemon Communication and 1 Sableye, and put in 2 Tool Scrapper.

Kyogre EX, Groudon EX (potential Darkrai OHKO, and frequent THKO), and Registeel EX might not look like a problem because you are moving around and healing up that spread damage, but their damage will catch up to you eventually in some cases, just be aware of that.

I'm also building a Serperior deck right now, but without Reuniclus, which I originally thought had excellent synergy with Serperior. I'm too impatient though, and I can't wait to set up that much.

Overall I give the deck an A! Good Job! Please take my advice, I am 100% sure on everything I mentioned.
 
Thanks for the criticism! I've been thinking about Max Potion, but I'm not really sure what I can take out so I won't lose consistency. With Max Potion, I can just move everything to a Darkrai, Max Potion, and send up Sableye to get Dark Patches to recover energy. I'm just really unsure of what I can afford to take out.

Hey, did you actually physically make this? I mean in real life, because I just converted my old Entei/Terrakion deck to BW....but not sure on my consistency either. This would be fun to play against tomorrow. >=)
 
No. I have none of the main Pokemon, and Aaron has one Serperior and no Darkrai. I won't be getting Darkrai any time soon, either.

Ah, that's right, for some reason I wasn't thinking about the Shiny Serperior. I realized immediately when I started reading your response. I have so many cards I can't decide what to run. So, eh, we'll see what trades I can get in with Chad tomorrow, I think he got a box too. Did you and Ryan buy packs yet?
 
Yeah, I got six packs on the 15th. I got a Mew EX FA, two holos, a reverse goodchomp, two Emolga, and a scarf. I might get more tomorrow.

Sweet, I got....a solid GOOD line in reverse for Garchomp. (I think I've actually got 3 Garchomp.) Mew EX, Terrakion EX, and Ho-Oh EX FA. Siglilyph holo. 3 more Emolga. Lots of stuff. I'll have to show you guys tomorrow.

EDIT: And I forgot Shiny Reuniclus!
