Round 1.

This round's rules and restrictions:
  • Use, effectively, at least two copies of Celebi Prime TR in your deck.
  • You must only use cards from the HS-CL sets. Using any BW-on cards in your list will result in a score of zero.
  • 60-card decks.
  • This round is over at 12:00 AM, December 5th, EST. Please send your lists to [mod]Serperior[/mod] and [mod]Futachimaru[/mod] before then in order to be eligible for this round.
  • The eight members with the lowest score will be eliminated.
  • BW rules and erratas still apply.
  • Build the deck as if your match will be untimed.

You can expect the results of this round on either December 8th or December 9th.

Your name will have a strikethrough when you have PM'd us your list. Once sent, no changes can be made to your list.

Should we play under the assumption the deck would be used in 30+3, or under the assumption it would be used in an untimed format? It's pretty important, since I can think of a lot of crazy stuff to do with this card in an untimed format. Whereas in a timed format, I can only think of 2 or 3 viable decks.

Also, I love this round's card :p
 
What format should we build it for? The current HS-NV format would allow us to test play for the best stratagy, but there would be more cobinations that would work well in a HS-CL format.

Well, hope everyone does a good job, and make it as creative as you can! Remember, there's no Dragons or Catcher, but there is Donphan, Reversal, and Yanmega, so be careful about what you choose. Good luck everyone!

I ment what our decks would be played against, that way we can maximize our stratagy and effectiveness. Not what cards we could use.
 
Exactly. If we could only use cards from HS-CoL, wouldn't it make sense that we would be building for the same format? I very well may be wrong, but that's how I view it.
 
Are we allowed to use promos such as Tropical Beach? I'm pretty sure we aren't since it HGSS-CoL but technically the promos aren't in any of the BW sets either and I wanted to be absolutely sure.
 
My brother got 2nd at Regs last year with an HS-CL deck using 2 Celebi prime. Wow.

And by the way...just for fun, you can title your deck. They don't really win you points, but I love them. :p It's ok if you don't!

I don't have a strikethrough on mine either, and I sent it in. I'm assuming it will just take a little longer for that to get done, especially if they're getting 5-10 of these a day.
