Sets being rotated

What sets are going to be rotated out for the 09-10 season??

As stated approximately 1.273 times before...
We cannot know until July 2009. Its WAY, WAY too early to tell. All we can do is guess.
 
we don't know for sure... but it's probably going to be MT, SW, GE, and possibly MD so it will be LA-on but they migt not take away GE just because it has rare candy (unless they reprint it) as every rotation so far has had a RC in it.

Any sets that are 100% sure going to be gone??
 
they might not even go with rotation and just go plain DP-on again but i think MT is a for sure.

Are ye daft? MD? That set was released very late last season, no way they cut that.

And well, the thing is that there are rumors it will STAY DP-On for a while. Then there's the fact that they want it to be even with Japan, which can't happen if it becomes GE-On or MD-On due to the mixup in cards (Gardevoir X and Honchkrow X swapped with Darkrai, Palkia and Dialga X, for instance).
 
Yes, so if we had to "remove" a set, SP would be first to go, and then MT.
 
Usually, more then just ONE set is removed. 3, 4 and 5 have all happened, so following that logic, GE-On, MD-On and LA-On seem open for next season. But since rumors are its gonna be even with Japan, we cannot be sure.
 
If there is a rotation, I am guessing it will be Majestic Dawn on. GE can get rotated because Rare Candy, Night Maintenance and Roseanne's Research are all in POP8, so we wouldnt loose any good Trainers/Supporters. My reason for guessing that MD would still be in is because that is the set that gave us new Empoleon, Infernape and Torterra. I just wonder if we will get new Lv Xs for them?
 
The only problem with your logic is that MD is just a filler set, and SF gave us new starters as well.
 
Why don't we just stop the silly speculation? Right about...NOW? Because we can't be sure....yeah, I played that record more often then I like.

I thought people would have learned to wait to wait until late July , until we know.
But since I am posting here.
I think it would be LA-on or MD-on , but there is a chance of getting only 2 set rotated.(they only rotated 2 sets for the 06-07 season)
 
^Have they ever done that and only used one set for a single card? Dont know how to explain it correctly, but it is unlikely a card like Rare candy could only be obtainable through pop packs, something you cant buy.
 
It's so early in the season to even start thinking about this. Think about it. They just changed Japan's format to match ours. It's very possible that they will make ours match theirs and not rotate anything next season. Every year, they is always one card that people go nuts about getting rotated. Quick Search Pidgeot, Holon Transceiver, DRE, and this year, I can see it being Claydol. That is, if 4 sets are rotated out.
