man, I watch alot of anime...not only that, I'm kinda old skool' too...with that said.....
Bleach - OMG, I can't get enough of this anime...great action, decent fillers that develop characters and showcase more depth than the regular arcs of the series.....although it's had it's slow moments (first 3 fillers, Bounts filler arc, draggin the Zanpakatou Rebillion out, and certain parts of the Amagai Shusuke filler arc), there has been plenty action and developement to make up for it IMO...I can hardly wait to stream the lastest episode each week
Naruto/Shippuuden - originally, I wasn't exactly impressed with this one...it actually had to grow on me, unfortunately, the fillers in the original series did not help that at all...I think it's gotten much better over time, and is a pretty decent anime IMO, the action that I see is good, the character development could be better, but isn't bad...but it definitely leaves you with your favorites and hatreds *cough*d-headDanzoandd-bagSasuke*cough*...while, I do like it, I think it could do better, but all in all it is good...another one I stream the new ep of every week
Fairy Tail - for something meant for a younger audience, I actually like this one alot, the character development is decent...could be better IMO, but it's still fairly early in the anime...the action is really exciting, and I hope this anime sticks around for a while
Death Note - I'm not much of an emo, and while the story to this one is very intriguing and interesting...this one just doesn't come off as one I was excited and anticipating to see...I think I had more of an interest to watch Paranoia Agent than this one
Code Geass - both runs of this series didn't exactly start my engines either, while well draw and vibrantly animated, the story to this one just seemed meh to me...I actually almost put this in league s-Cry-ed
Spice and Wolf - almost completely devoid of action...this anime is an interesting one that keeps me watching when the latest eps or series shows...interesting characters, interesting developments...this is one of those sleeper anime that most people wouldn't get into, but is very mature (no, not meaning adult)...the interactions between Horo and Lawrence are unique, and seeing what they go through while they are traveling is very entertaining
Mayoi Neko Overrun - silly anime...it's entertaining to see some of the situation the kids put themselves through
Rainbow - this one is very interesting...7 juveniles who are sent to prison for violent crimes, pretty much have to fend for themselves, while dealing with corrupt guards, doctors, and other inmates...I recommend this
Dragonball Z - one of the animes that really got me into anime as much as I'm into it now...the action was over-the-top good, however, fillers of downtime and standoffs made for frustrating days of watching this on Cartoon Network...granted Dragonall Kai takes out the extra eps...it's still really no different than watching it the first time around...good anime, wish it was still going, at least to make up for the meh job they did with GT
YuYu Hakusho - this one isn't bad at all, not my fave, but it is decent...and can get a bit boring at times.....but to be honest, the style of anime with this one caused me to want to watch Ranma 1/2 instead
Ruronin Kenshin - this was a really good anime series...great action, you normal run-of-the-mill fillers, I wish they had done more with this...but a story is a story
Cowboy Bebop - this is another one I really enjoyed watching...while the episodes weren't exactly linear enough to follow a story (at least, most of them weren't), it still had good episodes to keep you watching
Samurai Champloo - from the creator of Cowboy Bebop...this anime was one of my faves to watch...the eps still had a somewhat non-linear feel to them, but definitely followed an overall story...the action in this was pretty good, especially for an anime that didn't have technology or overpowered characters to feed the action
most of the anime I watch these days, outside of my action faves, are more comedic in nature...while they are entertaining, most are very short lived, and sometimes completely out of my normal range of things I'd be willing to watch...I guess they just don't make em' like they used to
I watch this myself...it is funny...but has that "wait, what" kinda feeling to it, like FLCL

varit said:-Arakawa Under the Bridge, i love this show, i won't lie, it's very funny, stupid and has slight complexity's that make it a worth while watch.
