Share Your Paranormal Experiences

Hello everyone, I start this thread wherever I join so I thought I'd share it here but before I start I want to say a few things, I am a paranormal investigator and have had many encounters with the paranormal ranging from getting touched by unseen forces, seeing lights turn on/off on their own, our equipment's battery going kaput, even getting a couch flipped over with me sitting on it! anyway, after being exposed to the paranormal and eventually becoming an investigator to help those who have had experiences like I have I started setting up these threads so those who have had experiences that they cannot explain and terrify them can have a place to share what happened without fear of getting laughed at, I will hear you out with the same amount of professionalism that I do in each one of my cases and possibly help you understand what you encountered

What a brilliant idea for a thread. This will be one to watch. :p

I've had a couple of bizarre experiences. One happened just a few days ago.

I was sitting on my bed doing homework, and one of my lights started to die, flickering. I wasn't surprised, I hadn't changed the bulbs in ages. For a while I just kept on with my homework, but after a while, I glanced at it, annoyed.
Behind the light, in my window, was some sort of mask. It looked human, but seemingly had no mouth. Its eyeholes were large and deep, not really seeming to have defined edges. The nose was very blocky and rectangular, giving a sense of a firm warning. The mask itself had an indescribable color, sometimes looking black, others white, others gray. It looked to be sculpted of smooth stone.
Oddly, I was not scared, per say. I was more...unnerved. I wasn't wondering why it existed, or how, moreso why it was here. It never really caused any fear, just uneasiness and a dim curiosity. The thing was gone when I left the room and came back.

What do you make of this?

@Skyleaf2000 it is different, would you say the mask seem to resemble african tribal masks? if so do you have any items around the house that could be possibly tied to african shamanism? this is rather different from the cases I am used to, are you certain it wasn't objects near the window or things you saw through the window looking like a human esque mask? if you see it again go take a closer look, the skeptic in me is saying that you just mistook a bunch of shapes you saw through the window looking like a human-like mask and also if the lights freak out on you again, contact an electrician and have him do a check because it could just be wonky wiring. However if nothing is found wrong, I suggest leaving a digital voice recorder, just a cheap one you can get for 10-15 bucks at best buy or radio shack the more expensive ones have filters on them that filter out lower decibel noises, just set it to record and see what you pick up, if you see it again, try asking it why is it there? my spiritual side is saying that it is an entity trying to deliver a message, I am a sensitive so I communicate with spirits all the time, even some in my own apartment who just like hanging out with me, but if you can get a good look at that mask and are able to ID the culture it seems to be from you might be able to ID the entity and get an idea as to what it wants

I don't really believe in those sorts of things, but I'll admit that I've had quite a few, like this one time before my birthday. It was morning and I was fast asleep, but then I suddenly felt something jump onto my bed that made a jangling sound. It then proceeded to "lick" my face, which caused me to react by giggling a bit. It took me a while to identify what it was, but then I realized that it was actually one of the dogs I've owned but died. I laughed and teared up a bit the second I noticed... I can't really explain it tbh.

I know how you feel, now most paranormal activity can be debunked via you are so used to seeing the person in a specific place that your brain just puts them there though I personally would love to say that it is the spirit of your departed dog checking in on you seeing as you were fast asleep I am going to have to say it was a dream. Dreams can seem a lot more real than most people give them credit for, being a practitioner of metaphysical arts I know a good deal of the practice of lucid dreaming and know how real many dreams can seem but that is my opinion as an investigator if there are any other weird happenings let me know and I will reformulate my theory with the new evidence

I see. So it was a lucid dream... Interesting. I'll be sure to let you know if anything like that ever happens again.

no, it wasn't lucid dreaming, just a basic dream, lucid dreaming is where you are aware that you are dreaming and with that awareness you can control them however you please, you can dominate pokemon TCG world championships, go on a pokemon adventure, heck even get it on with some of the hottest girls in the pokemon franchise, the dream world is your pizza basically, if you're interested I can point you to a cool video about it!

I've had one heck of a dream before...

So, I was out camping in my school. It was early. I woke up and got outside, and went down to the beach by the lake. The wind blew in my face, and I closed my eyes for a minute.

And I was back in my sleeping bag when I opened them. I looked across and saw one of my tent mates sleeping, and I rolled over, and he was on my other side too. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up an indeterminable amount of time later. One of my tent mates was awake and outside. I put on my shoes and stepped outside. The forest was very vivid, and...

I was back in my sleeping bag.

this repeated many times. It all felt so real, too. Like I could actually feel myself walking.

The oddest part was, a month later, I saw double of the same person again, while I was awake.

Dream deciphering isn't really my specialty I am a specialist in the paranormal but I will foreword it to the team's occult specialist and see what she says and I'll get back to you

Not exactly a paranormal experience, but sometimes in my dreams, when I find myself falling, like literally falling, I wake up immediately. :p

in my experience these kinds of dreams it usually means you are coming close to a major life changing decision, cannot say for certain what it is, it varies from person to person

can we PLEASE keep on topic of the paranormal? I am not very well versed in deciphering dreams, if you want to know more about that sort of thing check out Llewellyn publishing company's website, they have a whole section devoted to that kind of stuff

Back on 30 October, and on Halloween day, I definitely felt cold spots and had a naggin' sense of bein' watched. It started after I went through a local cemetery. I went to clean off the leaves from a few grave sites, because I figured that'd be a good thing to do on the eve of Samhain.

are you certain it wasn't a draft of cold air? or when it comes to the feelings of being watched how old is the wiring in the place?

My room is basically draft-proof, so I'm confident it wasn't that. Also, I'm from a cold area, so I know what a draft chill feels like, and it definitely wasn't that. As for the wiring question, I have no idea, but this is only the second time I've felt this sensation at this house in the four and a half years that I've lived here. Also, I felt that sensation everywhere I went, including on the bus, downtown, at my friend's place, etc.

I should note that none of this felt negative, like, at all. Other than the mild discomfort of feelin' like I'm bein' watched, I didn't feel in danger or anythin'. It was almost... Comforting?

I haven't really had any paranormal experiences, most of them I think are just me. However when I am in my room I always feel like I am being watched. That and some other things, it is probably because of the amount of horror stuff I watch, sometimes xD A few days ago however I woke up and I literally felt like I couldn't move, like there was someone above my bed. Another time I was absolutely sure I saw my most hated teacher at some kind of castle site out of the corner of my eye. She looked transparent and weird. Again, probably just me.
