I have the strangest feeling in my head that Shikijinka is a {G} type pokemon.

Reasons-->

* Little Yellow Flower on its head.

* If you look closely it has pinkish mane/fur which resembles flowers, etc

* STANTLER is Normal not Grass.

* IF GRASS, then it'd probably have a larger Deer/Elk grass Pokemon with a bunch of leaves and such.

So lemme know if you agree! GO GRASS TYPES!

PS- yes, ZYFLAIR, I know you'll lock this, but give it a small chance before you do, thannks so much.

*I always thought that was a ribbon or bow of some sort.

*All/most deer have that type of fur with that flower-ish pattern.

*None of this proves it is a grass Pokemon.

Some pokemon families change types though, so it could be a preevolution.

The pink makes me think its probably normal though, as most pink Pokemon are, such as Blissey or Clefable.

So I think he's a plain normal. But you do have some good points...

True. I guess we all could be right, I mean we'll just have to wait until COROCORO or heck Black and White, it'll be here soon enough!

The yellow sploch could also be a yellow tuff of fur. We can't really tell untill the artwork is released.
I do agree though that it is not a pre-evolution of stantler. They are two seperate pokemon, like munna and drozee.
As far as the type goes, I see it as a normal type. However, it could also be a grass type, like pokefreak explained.

There really any seeable proof that proves it is a grass type. Most deer have that type of pattern that flower appears as a ribbon of some sort. Not very thorough.

Y'know, Shikijika does kinda seem grassy to me. :0
But for now, it's a Normal-type to me, because of it being pink. Almost all pink Pokemon are Normal-types. Dunno why. :p

Like others have said, we'll just have to wait until more information is released. (It'll most likely come out in the Black and White Master Document around the 11th.)
