XY Shiny Locks

It is still a stupid idea, and gamefreak is probably wondering why people hack the games to get shiny legendaries at times too.

Quick, someone write a letter to Nintendo and Gamefreak.

Nintendo to have them get their act together and Gamefreak to stop putting in shiny locks for legendaries.
 
Can Mewtwo be shiny?

So I've decided to start soft-resetting for a shiny Mewtwo, but does anyone know if it has a shiny lock on it? I'd assume that it doesn't because it's not one of the two mascot legendaries or an event, but can anyone confirm this either way?

Yep, Kyurem was totally lock-free. That's why I'm hoping that Mewtwo isn't either.
 
Well I haven't seen any youtube videos on it so I think it's locked for whatever reason despite the fact that it can be shiny in HGSS and transfers fine. However it could also be that people assume it is locked and no one has attempted it.
 
It's a shame... I absolutely LOVE shiny Zekrom (Green <3) and now Shiny Zygarde (looks minty!)

Too bad that they are locked. I hope that in some future event we will get shiny Yveltal/Xernas/Zygarde by a WiFi event.

No, I've got a shiny Lugia in my Party and my twin sister has a shiny Ho-Oh in her party.
So they aren't shiny locked!

But why Arceus? I have a shiny Lv.100 Arceus that I trained hard and I can't send it in...
(Plus it is my second favourite Pokemon, and I really want it in)
Well, I'll have to rely on someone to trade me an Arceus, which did happen thankfully!

Is Darkrai shiny locked? I've heard some say that it is, but I have a shiny Darkrai.

Shiny Mewtwo isn't locked, because my sister has one. One out of five Mewtwos.
(She has the one I caught...I let her have it though)
 
^is it the one from the Pokemon Village Cave? It is rumored to never shine but you can transfer shiny Mewtwos from your other games fine. I haven't seen any live shiny Mewtwo vids out there just ones from FRLG or HGSS.

It's a transferred Shiny Mewtwo from the Johto region (HeartGold).
 
Right so I'm fairly sure he won't be able to SR for a shiny Mewtwo. Cmon a game that's released worldwide and not one player has uploaded a shiny Mewtwo in XY? Perhaps he's locked by mistake, perhaps they just wanted normal Mewtwo in XY.

The birds also cannot be SR'd for a shiny in the final encounter, but can be first encountered shiny, meaning, SRs are more painful.
 
We already confirmed all of the shiny locked Pokemon, in a previous post made by myself. I'll put that post in the op so people know.
