News 'Shiny Tapu Koko-GX Box' in July!

Promo collecting just gets more expensive. lol Let's see if the SM promo numbers surpasses XY's...
 
Why couldn't the shiny Tapu Koko GX be a pre-release promo at least them getting a playset of them

would be worth it

Tapu Lele is the main selling point of Guardians Rising. This goes with Shaymin-EX. If they release a Tin or a Box with Lele or Shay in it they will get a quick surge of sales, and then when the box gets sold out after initial distribution there isn't as much money left for them to make with Guardians Rising sales. If they don't release a box they can milk the 6$ CAD a pack for the next two years and make lots more money off that. Theyre a business first and competitive game second. Where they can max profit they wont put anything in the way that could damage that number. Tapu Lele is guaranteed to keep Guardians Rising sales super high and a box would damage that.

That isn't actually true. There are many useful cards in GR and to be honest, Tapu Koko would be the selling point of the set since they are marketing it. This is the third push on that Pokemon already.

What happened to Pokémon isn't the one creating the market for the singles?

The company would profit more for selling promo boxes as opposed to allowing third party sellers to raise the price of the cards that are rare. If people buy singles only, they are already damaging their profits since mainly large collectors or card shops would buy a lot of the booster boxes
 
I was hoping they wouldn't make an English version of this card. Hopefully it won't bring down the price of the Japanese version.
 
That's a lot of Kokos. The SM block started just a few months ago and this will be its fourth print. Wonder why they're focusing on it so much.

That and the fact that the Shiny Koko cards were already printed in Japan, which is why Asia had Shiny Koko events, to promote Guardians Rising (Before anyone asks, the other territories had a HA Lycanroc for that purpose).
