Should I get WiFi?

Loving Wifi in my life...

I have a DS and obviously Pokemon games but should I get WiFi? Is all the fun worth it? How much does it cost (In pounds)? I need Pokemon to trade like my Kadabra in Platinum. Also is the WiFi Plaza fun?

Assuming you already have broadband and you don't already have a router, I would estimate it could cost about 58 pounds (hope my converting is right) for a wireless router or about 51 pounds for a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. If you don't have broadband, you should still be able to get on Nintendo WFC with a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. I don't know if you could use a wireless router without broadband. Since I don't have Wi-Fi, I don't know if the Wi-Fi Plaza is good. Hope this helps a little. Oh, one last thing. If my convertions are wrong, you could try to convert US dollars into pounds. The cost for a wireless router in dollars is about $40 and a Nintendo WFC Connector is around $35 if you get it new.

Do you need a router and a USB connector?

If you have games worth playing, like pokemon D/P then yeah.

After all, I guess people feel gelous that people are having such a good time and you can't join in.

I would say go for it, meet up with your freinds and have a good wi-fi record.

Obviously yeah...

You can meet up and battle more freely on Wi-Fi then you can on Shoddy Battle...

The USB connector is safer security wise. The DS uses older internet protocols. USB connector can only be accessed by DS, DSi, and Wii.

Well, when I first started with Wi Fi, I found myself like if I have never played the same. Really, it changed me since I could go further. In case of Pokémon DS games, it seems fun since you will catch other pokes for a team, then you will have online experiences with millions of different teams, with millions of trainers using them.
Yeah, you should, as my wise friend said above.

Wi-Fi is essential for making full use of Pokemon. So yes, get it.

dmaster out.

I bought my Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector for about 40€ So that should be about 35£ these days in Great Britain:)
Probably cheaper by now since I bought the connector in august.
And yes it is most certainly worth it!!

Buy A decent router for 50$, and yes it is worth it! You can use it for your DS, PSP, WII, PS3, or XBOX if you have one, plus you can use it for a laptop. 100% worth it.

You could probably find one at ebay or Amazon. I was lucky enough to pick one up at retail.

dmaster out.

Best Buy carries them. I would think Game Stop or Toys R Us would carry them.

No. You should discard your DS then buy a PSP. Much better with way more enjoyable features than DS, trust me.
