BW/BW2 Should we get customizable apparel?

I guess, but I would just make another section of the department store. A super store dedicated to just clothes in a Pokemon game is ridiculous. ...and you know how they have weekly items and specials in Animal Crossing? They could have like a special clothes item each we only for that week.
 
I would totally wear the team rocket clothes again from when they gave you them for about 2 minutes in Soul Silver/Heart Gold.
 
I think you should be able to design your sprite.. but only the once. Pokemon would just turn into a game about what clothes to wear Id hate it.
 
It'd be nice, but I'm not so sure.
One would think that they would already have showed this feature by now o_O
It's definitely one of the more "asked for" features.

Another point. What if we got to design our sprite to however we wanted like right after Prof. Oak.

"Are you a boy, or are you a girl?"

"What do you look like again?"

^ I don't think that you should design an outfit, just choose from pre-designed pants, shirts, jackets, shoes, hats, hair designs, and hair colors. I don't really know about this either, because playing through the story looking like Giovanni would be crazy.

EDIT: I actually think that the pre set character idea is better, that would prevent Giovanni from taking over the fashion world...

That reminds me of the Pokemon Trainer Club on Pokemon.com. Which wouldn't be a bad idea, you could create your character on your PTC account and then download it into your game.

I meant more along the lines of a seperate section of the site for making your BW trainer with a much more diverse choice of designs. I wouldn't want to use my Trainer Club avatar as my trainer either, they're so... dumb looking.

This would be awesome. Surprisingly, I actually kinda like the new girl's design. It's just the extremely short shorts that bother me (oh, and those fugly boots). It's like every female character has to wear a slutty outfit. >.> But I guess Sapphire was good, since she wore leggings with the shorts (skirt?). I hope we'll get some type of outfit changing option in a future Pokemon game, since I'm sure B/W will only have outfit changes for when Winter starts. =/
 
I think the idea of having customizable sprites would be great. I mean, I love the male and female player character's designs, but I can't help but want to put her in a goth loli outfit like Marley's. >w<; I think if they added at least a few clothing items that change the player character's appearance, that might be enough, seeing as they do have tons of accessories for Pokémon to wear in the musicals.

Oh, sorry, kinda misunderstood you there. I thought you ment Animal Crossing style, where you do it block by block and it takes eons to finish.

The pokemon.com idea is good, but some of those designs suck big time. And, this would benifit High Link interaction, because everyone would look different (instead of black belts and ace trainers running around everywhere). That means people could say, "Hey, she's the one who beat me to the Vaporeon earlier! I'll show her not to mess with the Pokemon I want!" or something. Nintendo and Game Freak, give us clothes!
 
My heart would definitely skip a beat if that were to happen. I am hoping that we could customize our player characters ever since the days of Silver/Gold/Crystal.
 
I would like a random wardrobe to be in every city for me to customize.I think this will be interesting along with the combination attacks.And apparently your apparel changes every so often based on season's.....I can't really decide any longer >.>.Plus it would also be also interesting if you could wear things from the fashion case.
