Should we have another Mid-Season Rotation to BW-On?

Yeah, mid season rotation would be terrible because it would get rid of all good evolved attackers. The only reason they did the last one was because of the rule changes.

and they couldn't let luxchomp dominate for a whole year round

Now that I think about it, luxchomp had nothing to do with the rotation. You could still have a legitimate game against luxchomp. If they rotated because a single deck was dominating, GG wouldn't have stayed competative for 3 seasons.

Competetive, but not the only legitimate deck

I agree with you guys that another Mid-Season Rotation would be a very bad idea right now or anytime soon, the format is starting to shift more with more playable cards in the format and resetting it again would cause a scizm in the format where the card pool is too limited and not enough deck choices to choose from. Most of the decks we see today get most of their support from the HGSS sets Trainer and Supporter wise.

The problem with HGSS-On at the moment is that there's too much luck overriding skill in this format (which still plagues Yu-Gi-Oh! to this day but whatever) and because of that factor there's only certain decks that are good enough to do well competitively like various Magnezone variants which has the best competitive chance against the upcoming Pokemon EX in the current format. Perhaps either Zekrom EX or Mewtwo EX is the best backup attacker to help Magnezone function better besides Eelektrik.

It would also make basic decks the only playable decks

neither was luxchomp

But, it was clearly the best deck and was very expensive. It made it so newer players to the game couldn't keep up with it and it's prices. It also made it so there was a small variety of only about 3 decks: Vilegar, LuxChomp, and Gyarados

You're forgetting sabledonk, which was the main reason the rotation occurred.

This is getting a lot off topic. I've posted my thoughts on the rotation, so I'm ending this current discussion

How is this off topic? We're discussing the earlier rotation, and why a current one isn't a good idea.

Okay, I'm just sayin it wasn't really on topic. We shouldn't have a rotation because no decks are really dominating. The decks are also somewhat cheap to make

NO. I would hate a format without baby pokemon like cleffa pichu and tyrogue, And without collector. But think about it: If we had a mid season rotation Pokemon would probably release a lot of awesome trainers, unless they want games to last an hour because of the slowness. XD

NOOOOO. If they did this literally the only viable deck left are mewtwo ex. tyram and all zone decks would be gone. My fav deck chandelure woulde be gone. so it would be reshiboar vs eelzone every round each running 1-2 mewtwos.
