Perhaps... In theory, "yes," the energy-loaded Bouffalant with SB, Ht Laser and VCG can 1HKO an opponent EX Poké.Takamajorania said:
The real question, as you stated, is whether or not it would "work well." Consider that Bouffalant requires 3 energy to execute its Gold Breaker attack. To manually attach the prerequisite 3 energy, you will need at least 2 turns (including a DCE), unless you use some type of energy attachment acceleration (EAA) "engine" like Blastoise or Emboar. A Team Plasma Badge + Colress Machine EAA engine could be used, but that would require managing lots of Tools, and the needed cards could drastically impair your deck's smooth operation.
Note: most of the "top" current decks (Blastoise, Emboar (?), Darkrai, Kyurem-Deoxys-Thundurus, VirGen, etc.) have an inherent EAA engine of some kind; Bouffalant does not. But without some type of EAA, you would allow your opponent that 1 turn opportunity to 1HKO your Bouffalant first...
Unless I've missed something, I'm not sure how a Bouffalant-based deck (without some type of EAA) could consistently work well against decks running EXs in actual games, IMHO.

since this is a deck that runs sableye, virizion shouldn't be much of a problem (hammers). I tested buffolant/darkrai sableye (for turn 1 buffolant against big basics) and well, it is fast, but even at just running it for the turn 1, for example, runs through a lot of resources (DCE, ultra ball, dark patch, e.switch + the dark energy, etc), so even if you wanted to play the extra 3 cards for the extra 60, it's like you have to have 4 bicycle, juniper, spam the bench and go for colress things like that. This combo just runs through to many resources.
P.S. From testing putting in colress machine and plasma badge is slower overall then sableye, ultra ball, dark patch and e. switch.

I think the combo you described is more likely to happen in specific senarios of some big basics variant, rather than a deck itself.
