I recently got Skyrim, a really hot game, and got it for my PC.
My sister and dad played it not too long ago and got hooked to it!
Discussion questions:
1.What do you think of Skyrim?
2.What are the scariest monsters you've encountered?
3.What level is your character?
4.What race are you?
5.Broken records.. :p You know this..

Just use this thread to discuss anything related to Skyrim :p No restrictions as long as you don't go off topic..:D

Help keep this thread alive, Skyrim fans!!! :D

Yeah, love this game. Worthy of GOTY. It is definitely a game that has captured my imagination and turned my save into a real adventure. Every time I slide that disk in I always think it's another episode in the Dragonborn's life. A game hasn't done this for me in a looong time. Many quest-lines and even glitches make me think of it as a series more than anything else. Like if anyone has had the vampire glitch where everyone starts fighting each other, I'm sure they would agree that would make a perfect plot line for an episode. Also spoilers Lydia dies.

Lv.36 Khajiit

You could say I'm a little bit addicted. I have 100 Sneak and 100 Pickpocket, along with like 75ish One Handed and 65 Archery. Right now I dual wield with the Blade of Woe and an Ebony Mace, and I'm working on finding the Daedric items. I already have the battleaxe (two actually) and the warhammer, although my main focus is the mace and dagger, since they are what I use. I'm the thane in Whiterun and in Windhelm (go Stormcloaks) and I use the Nightengale armor, all except the hood, which I believe is the Dark Brotherhood one.

On the topic of sequels though, I wonder how they're going to work around the fact that either side can win the Civil War, and how that affects future games? Since either side could have won the Civil War, who would rule in the future?

If Elsweyre/Black Marsh/Hammerfell or whatever is set a while into the future like Skyrim was with Oblivion, then I'd expect they would make vague references to it while dancing around the actual outcome. Either that or a canon version is actually decided and it hasn't been made clear yet.

Level 76 Khajiit (Guess who used the Ognum Infinium glitch?)

If anything, the mage class is the most broken. Once you master enchantments, you can effectively reduce the magika cost of any school of magic to zero. This means you can spam Chain Lighting/Runes/Quick-casting spell that can tear through any enemy army. You can also put this on dragonskin armor to make yourself almost impossible to kill (provided you make fortify smithing enchantment + potions). Illusion is (for me) pretty useless, and the best use for Alteration is the paralysis spells (<3). But just have Destruction and enchanting, and you can essentially kill anyone pretty quickly (Fortify Destruction potions to tear down Giants in only four Chain Lightning shots, if not less).

Level 10 Orc, I'm still not all that into it. I'm definitely more of a physical warrior(two-handed weapons) at this point than a magic reliant guy, but it's pretty obvious that you need to utilize lot of magic if you wanna beat the game.

I have two save files on my Xbox 360
One is an orc and the other a Khajit

To be honest I love this game. Loved it as an Orc but after a while it gets a bit boring. Just spamming attack and block.
So that's why I started a new game as a Khajiit to add a bit of strategy to the game.
Both games I played for the Empire due to the Stormcloaks being a bunch of racists and not one of my players actually being Nords..

I'm level 30-something (36? Not sure) Nord. Fantastic game, though. I've got my guy doing one-handed stuff and magic in the other. Works out quite nicely!

I'm a level 15 Dark Elf and I am currently doing the main quest. (about do try the Ognum Infinium glitch:)) Thank you Zyflair. ;)

1.What do you think of Skyrim? - Not bad, but got boring after a.) Hit 81 in under an hour (trollolol Ogmah Infinitum), and gained the easy ability to one shot everything (also real, I do so much damage, I don't actually know how much my katanas do, nor my armour rating, and by also using Restoration potions on my alchemy gear).
2.What are the scariest monsters you've encountered? - Probably Dragons, not exactly scary, just an annoyance
3.What level is your character? 81
4.What race are you?- Orc(dual-wielding) / Khajiit (theif) / Nord (1h + conjurer)

Edit: The only real problems I had was that the story mode wasn't long at all and doing everything over again gets repetitive, fast.

My Khajit is now level 24 on the way in being 25! :p
Anyways, is anybody here affected by Lycanthropy? Are there any other ways in getting it besides completing the Companions questline?

If I understand it correctly, you can go to any of those Shrine of Talos things and that will cure you, but I've always been careful around vampires/werewolves.
