i always flip past this card and tell myself that im going to make a deck with it and i am finally gonna do it. the only problem is energy attachment. so i have found a way around it. of course you would be using the second attack. so i was thinking of running it with mismagius UD and jirachi UD . put jirachi down get at least 1 energy (hopefully) and then move it to slowbro. so

4-4 slowbro HS
1-1 mismagius (should i make it 2-2 or 3-3?)
4 jirachi

now that isnt very many poke so i added drifblim SF so that i can use its lifting that get what ever and then put energies on it and then next turn retreat and move the energies to the then active slowbro.

so what do you think? i like this idea.

Very creative and interesting idea.

I'm assuming you'd also throw some Expert Belts, candies, and BTS into the final build?

Seems like a decent idea if you can figure out the best way to get it set up quickly enough.

This idea looks pretty cool but there are better ways to play a deck like this, there are two options which both use feraligatr prime.

Lanturn Prime for [L][C][C] hits 40 + 10 for each energy attached to all your pokemon, by using feraligatr you can put over 10 energy on your benched pokes and hit for over 100 damage.

Golduck TR for [W][C] hits 30 +10 for each energy attached to all your pokemon using feraligatr again you can do the same thing. Golduck only has 90hp compared to lanturn's 110 and its attack hits for 10 less damage but for one less energy. Golduck's power is what pushes it ahead, golduck heals 20 hp for each energy you attach to it so using dawn stadium (extra 10hp heal) you can use feraligatr to attach numerous energy to golduck and heal over 120 damage a turn making your oponent have to one hit it otherwise you'll heal all the damage back.

^ yes but this is 20 for each energy. if you have 3 psychic just for attack cost you already do 90. that is 3 energies and not 10. also it doesnt require a stage 2. it just takes 2 stage 1's. i dont think that BTS or candies are needed because turn 2 you can have everything ready.

Hey catutie,
I've already played a deck with Slowbro. I've used it together with Ampharos from GS. First set up an Ampharos with one rainbow or {L} energy (just what seems to be better for you), then use it's first attack to attach up to 3 {P} energys per turn. It's not really fast, so I wouldn't use it in Tournaments, but It works fine if you play just for fun.
So, when you play it like this, BTS and rare Candys are really important.

i could do a 2-2-2 line of ampharos. i always used ampharos HS for energy attachment. i dont know why i didnt think of it lol. i can use ampharos till it dies then just tank with and e-belted slowbro.

I used slowbro in an older deck of mine. He was very fun and everyone hated it because, like you have noticed, it is a stage one that can do insane damage. I used it more as a sweeper once I got the feel for my deck, so this may not be helpful for you.

With 90hp, or 110hp with e-belt, his health is a little on the low side, not to mention a x2 weakness to {L}. The point is, if they are expecting it, your opponent can take him down pretty easily. If you can stall your opponent long enough, you can bring him in for an easy prize or 2 in the beginning, but I found it was better to use him towards the end simply because how my deck was put together. I used Gardevoir PL in my deck, which was great for having a lot of energy out (for stuff like slowbro), and it only had 1 retreat cost. So, when it was about to go down I retreated it and moved all of my energies on everything to slowbro and was hitting for anywhere from 90-210 most games.

By the time you get your ampharos and slowbro built up, your opponent will have something built up, and all that work could easily be undone if they can KO your slowbro. I love the card, but unless you get a great hand it is just too slow of a build to work well.

You could just use your original idea.....Jirachi/Mismagius. Run 3 Mismagius and transfer up to 3 energy from Jirachi to Slowbro. Use Junk Arm/Engineer's Adjustments to discard like mad, and Seeker/SSU to re-use Jirachi.

Keep in mind you'll also need Jirachi to save you when Slowbro dies, because it'll inevitably take a lot of energy with it.

^Those take up space, but it could work with Engineer's adjustments. It also depends on the prevalence of Trainer-Lock in one's area...

4/5 decks here are vilegar so idk. i put 4 jirachi and i would probably only have to use it those 4 times. i was thinking 2 mismagius. that is 60 more per turn. attach 1 then move 2. i totally didnt think about engineer or junk arm.
