Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?

Posts MUST be several sentences long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted - this forum is to discuss specific cards so other people can learn about their potential in the current metagame.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
This card in my opinion is great.I would definitely put on in my deck.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
I'm not sure what a metagame is.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
I could use Super Psy Bolt on fighting types but that's all I could think of.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself
4/5 The attack is great and its PokePower is okay.
(out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?
The artwork is great.Slowking looks like it's ready to fight.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
-Not the best card around. I really wouldn't play it.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
-I can't think of anything to fit this.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
-Underground Expedition. Get the card your opponent choose then use Underground Expedition to get the other. It's basically drawing 2 cards.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself
-2/5 The attack isn't that great, and it's Poke-Power isn't great either, unless paired with Underground Expedition, which is okay, I guess.
5. How's the artwork?
- It's not my favorite artwork.. Nice shine on the apple.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
Well, let's take a look at the stats.100HP on a prime is not bad, a x2 {P} weakness is not much of a problem, because we have lost a few heavy {P} type hitters. No resistance sucks, and a retreat of {C}{C} is plain bad. This card's attack is almost like Kadabra from Base Set. It was pretty good then, but sucky now. Its power isn't the best. Letting your opponent choose is never a good idea. Not very good, I can't think of any decks I would play it in.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
None that I know of. In fact, I don't know any competitive decks that run this card.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Research Records, Pokedex, or any other re-arranging card. Y{P}ou can put two good cards at the top, so it makes the decision harder. Or, as mentioned earlier, Use Underground Expedition RR.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
I would give it 2/5
5. How's the artwork?
I like it. He looks like he's going, "I'm so cool with my shiny... apple?'

1. This card is not too bad. It is a decent Uxie replacement - in fact, it is better in some ways. The only way that I can see that it is not as good is that your opponent has control over your choice and could potentially send a very good card to the bottom of your deck.

2. The Metagame is not established for HGSS-on in my area. Its all still up in the air.

3. I would not play this card outside of a psychic deck. I believe you could pair this with the original HGSS Slowking - just to make Slowking more playable (both Slowkings have really nice powers).

4. I rate this card 4.9 out of 5. Honestly, I know - it may seem a bit high, but check this out. Here is the card compared as a Uxie X replacement:
*Stage 1, not a level up
*Its attack can be used multiple times for one more energy
*Same weakness as Uxie X, so not missing much there
*Higher HP than Uxie X

And the two cons:
*Your opponent can make the choice for you, making this power somewhat less effective than Trade-off
*+1 retreat for a stage 1, not the best (but easily fixed with switch or Dodrio....but Dodrio sux!)

5. Boy O Boy!!! Do I ever love this cards art! Sneaky Slowking!! 9/10 art!

1. It's good on the bench but not as an active.
2. Maybe a water and poison deck. For both slowbro and slowking.{W}{P}
3. Use opponets choice and if you don't get the card you want use a underground expedition.
4. A three star, rare, it's an okay card.
5. To much black.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
I do not like this card it has little potential it has a bad attack and pokepower.

2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
METAGAME! HA! this card will never make metagame.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Underground Expidition: To get the good cards you oppenet puts on the bottom.
Pokemon Reversal: You use Pokemon Reversal to switch your oppenets benched Uxie or Azelf, Then use Super Psy Bolt.

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
1 out of 5 it is not worth playing unless you have a very well thought out plan.

5. How's the artwork?
It is okay the black is cool but what is up with the apple? 2.5 out of 5.

1. It's a tech, and therefore really can't be standalone.
2. Any deck absolutely desperate for any form of drawpower.
3. Underground Expedition for one. Maybe Dusk Ball if a useful Pokemon is sent to the bottom of the deck. The latter is very hit and miss though.
4. 2/5. The biggest problem with Opponent's Choice is that it's partner card, Underground Expedition, is getting rotated, and the card draw is borderline useless until rotation. I suppose if a similar card comes out in the future, Slowking Prime could come in handy, but until then, Slowking HGSS is more useful in my own opinion.
5. "I will make you an offer...you cannot refuse." I like the vibe the art gives me. I might give it a 5.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?

This card can't stand alone at all. Its HP is low for stage1, let alone a Prime. No resistance, high retreat cost, high amount of energy needed for low damage output. Not worth playing.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?

None that I know of.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?

Nothing worth doing. Dusk Ball maybe like said above.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).

2/5 It's not useless, but it doesn't really have anything worthy of being in a deck.
5. How's the artwork?

Really nice, I have the card myself and it looks stunning.
