Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
5. How's the artwork?

Posts MUST be several sentences long with proper grammar and spelling or they will be deleted - this forum is to discuss specific cards so other people can learn about their potential in the current metagame.

1st post :p

1. This card would be a very good starter of any decks. it has alot of potential and it is worth being played in all decks.
2. It could be used in gdos and almost every deck could play it due to its "Potrait" poke-power. with this, it ensures your setup and you could potrait following by a retreat and whack.
3. It could be used in all decks as i said, for it could be used as a starter pokemon other than spiritomb and sableye.
4.i give it 4.5/5 due to its pokepower.
5. I would prefer the UD one, but this looks playful, 4/5.
This card has alot of potentials after the next rotation, just hope you wont potrait for a judge or PONT your good hands in the start.

I just learn to play on the TCG online, so

1. Definitely worth being play, the poke-power is awesome, but the attack is meh if you get 2 tails.
2. I think this one fit in every deck, right?
3. This card goes with anything, copy a supporter, can be very good if there are no good card on hand.
4. 3 out of 5. Good but not fantastically cheating, the coin flipping attack is a meh.
5. I love every artwork on the card if they don't use Sugimori art on it, not that I don't like Sugimori art but his art just don't fit in the card. This Smeargle's art is pretty, 4 out of 5 but I prefer the non-holo version.

@Tensho TCG online is already on????

OK, my opinion of Smeargle UD/CL:

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
I'ts a nice starter, yes indeed. I've seen it in a lot of decks, IMO it's having the same popularity than Sableye SF (at least here in my country...). It has a nice pokepower (and everyone use it's pokepower, I don't think that someone use its attack xD), and its worth being played.
2. What popular metagame decks could it be used in?
Uffff... in any deck, except for a trainer lock deck (which the best choice is Spiritomb AR).
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
I use it with Sableye. If I start with Smeargle, I use Portrait. If the opponent doesn't have any useful, I just bring (or switch it) Sableye and use its attack. It is a nice combo because, if your opponent has some nice supporter and you have Sableye in your bench, you can play 3 Supporters in one turn. Pretty nice, huh?
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
4/5. It is a nice starter, but it has a big con: you depend on the opponent's hand. I prefer (by a lot) Sableye SF because you depend in your deck, and not in your opponent's hand (and you start first).
5. How's the artwork?
I like both Smeargle's artworks: UD and CL. I dunno which is the best, but I like both.

Guiding questions:
1. On its own it can't do much. It is worth being played though, it makes for a great tech.
2. Pretty much anything with an Unown Q or a warp energy in it. It goes especially well with stuff like VileGar and DialgaChomp, that like the opportunity to look at your opponent's hand, but it goes well with anything.
3. Unown Q gives it free retreat. DialgaChomp/VileGar like being able to see their opponent's hand. Sablelock could use this too, I suppose. Gyarados will like it a lot now, because LostGar is big.
4. 5/5. No questions asked, one of the best techs in the game. It will be huge after the rotation too, I think (with Uxie being gone and such)
5. I like the artwork. I always liked the old one more, but the new one's still good. 4/5.
