So, what should I get for my new console?
 
I recommend getting MetalGear solid 4 and in april SuperStreetFighter 4 comes out so you should get that if you like fighting games. You should definitely get LittleBig Planet.
 
Like jboy said,littlebigplanet and if you do't already have it for xbox,you should get cod:mw2. I would highly suggest getting darksiders because i think it is one of the best games ever! Maybe get rockband or guitar hero if you like party/music games and if you plan to get downloadable songs get rb2 because it has a much bigger and better selection than world tour or five. Hope i helped!:)
 
I already have MGS4 and LBP and I have MW2 for my xbox. Also I don't think I have money to buy the set for the music games lol. Thanks for the suggestions.
 
The BluRay drive on my console is currently busted, so I've been playing a ton of PSN games. Battle Fantasia is a great download game, so is Bomberman Blast and Noby Noby Boy which provides hours of enjoyment and what the heck moments.

As far as retail games go, BlazBlue is a must if you enjoy fighters. I've probably clocked the most hours in that than any of my other PS3 games. I'd also recommend Valkyria Chronicles, inFAMOUS, Resident Evil 5 (unless you own it on your 360), Bayonetta, Darksiders, and Eternal Sonata. All of those are great buys. White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean IV International will be out next month, both of which look promising. And Super Street Fighter IV will be out in March.

I recommend a game that not many people look at, but that I love, because it's what racing games should be like.

Juiced 2. If more people had the game, and played online, it'd be a lot more hectic, since you can bet on people online, and depending on the odds, you can make a ton, or lose a ton. People can also bet on you, so you determine whether people make money off of you or not =)

And with the new system of wingmen that was integrated, racing with CPU's has never been so exciting (you can tell your wingmen to focus on crashing others, staying ahead, etc.)

Sorry about that. I meant #4. Thinking about III, god of war III will be a good game to get when it comes back. Uncharted 2 and MW2 are the two best games IMO.

if you like party you can try buzz, as it's only 5$ more then usual games incl. buzzers
and i don't know if you play online with x-box, but PS3 has free online gaming so maybe try to sell MW2 for x-box and buy ps3 version, as free gaming is better then payed.

Isn't FF13 being massively criticized in Japan for being INCREDIBLY linear, stale, boring, and restrictive? Pretty trailer != Good game. I wouldn't recommend saving up for it...
Or I'm thinking of another FF game which recently came out in Japan, not really into the series. Though I'm pretty sure it's FF13.

Nothing else I can help you with since I don't own a PS3 myself.

I havent heard any of that. But at the same time, it wouldnt surprise me either. After all, this is game 13.
Its hard to imagin anything new to use.

But, being as I havent played FF before except for Tactics, its new to me. Plus, it does look really good.
 
Yeah, FFXIII is taking a lot of heat in Japan. But keep in mind, the Japanese internet will complain about ANYTHING, especially when it comes to games like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. It's still getting plenty of positive reviews though. If you're unsure, just rent it when it comes out and decide for yourself.
 
I didn't know the Japanese complained about JRPGs being linear? Aren't most JRPGs linear anyway?
 
From what I heard, you can barely backtrack for like 2/3rds of the game. It's not that the storyline is linear, it's that the game itself is linear. Think straight line, with the occasional village along the way, enemies you have to beat, and no turning back.
 
So what are all your PSN names or whatever they're called. I'm kinda bored and looking for people to play LBP with lols
