So is anyone else a little disappointed with HGSS

Jumpluff mirrors are going to be hilarious. I'm looking forward to fooling around with that line but I dunno how much use it'll really end up seeing after the second set drops. But yeah it's definitely one of the highlights of the set.

Random question, will we receive our prerelease Pichu's at the beginning of the tournament? It'd be nice to have if I pull a Jumpluff line :p

More than likely. You can't actually use it in the tournament though.

The way my tourney does it (and I do believe the same applies to the rest of the prereleases) is that they give you the sleeves and the set promo once you register, but the set promo is not allowed to be used in the actual prerelease tournament.

Continuing the discussion, HGSS is one of those sets where some cards are just fantastic, and the rest aren't really that great (Arceus was a bit like that.) Right now, all of the good cards are the cards that we don't have the scans for yet, such as Jumpluff.

This set actually has some metagame changing deck possibilities. Donaphan, Feraligatr, and Jumpluff are completly new pokemon that will definently take a role in the metagame. Some decks that will gain popularity might include Ampharos, Charizard, Flygon Varients, Blissey, and Garchomp C varients.

wait
so i wanna ask one question
is this suposed to be like the new thing?
like get rid of DP and play with these?
like we did with the EX series??
