Did anyone on here try this game? Did you like it? I rented it a while back, and I thought it was okay, but it could have been a lot better.
 
Could have been one of the best Sonic games if they hadn't had the Werehog levels. Too think a few months ago, I was going to buy this game for them. Sure thing I didn't and rented it instead. x_x

I was going to buy "Sonic Unleashed", but I rented it instead. I'm happy that I rented it because, it was not all I expected it to be. (I only rented it because the intro in the trailer looked really cool!)
 
I don't know why they always need to add unnecessary distractions from what everyone really wants. Sonic isn't meant to be slow in any form, and this game proves it valiantly.
 
It was kinda dissapointing, but hey, it's better than the recent Sonic games we've had. The Day stages were pretty fun, it was a challenge to get a Superior ranking on all of them.

The sountrack was amazziinnngg =D
 
Its a step in a right direction. They just need to make other games you know, bring back Streets of Rage, and Kid Chameleon! That would be a breath of fresh air instead of Segas constant fail of sonic.
 
I haven't played this game, but I heard that the day stages are great (I think the lack of them in the game is due to the stages taking a long time to design). So at least SonicTeam are improving in that regard- they know what they have to do now, it's just a question of putting enough effort into the game and not to ruin it with a silly gimmick (guns, lol).

But indeed, the Sonic thing is wearing very thin now, and I totally agree with cool. Whatever happened to Ristar!? There are so many games that should be remade.
 
The day stages are as great as everyone says they are. If that were the whole game (even if it wouldn't be nearly as long), it would the best Sonic game since the Genesis days.
