lol, sometimes it's hard to tell which part of a fakemon is part of the body and which part isn't.

Well no, it was an idea I had previously about the Spell Tag and I sort of wanted to incorporate it into the design. I had initially wanted it to be based off of the undead concept with the hats/undead slips over their faces but a large slip looked a bit odd covering its' face. I suppose I could always turn around and re-design it without the slip instead.

It doesn't have the stereotypical qing dynasty official's hat though.
 
I suppose what I could do is take the symbol at the center and reintegrate it into the design/forehead possibly. I wouldn't want to go as far as add the hat, though, I simply liked the slip idea and for Eevee to evolve while levelling and holding the Spell Tag.
 
Actually I think it might be better without the tag. Gives the head a cleaner appearance. Or you could try to work it into a head crest (like vaporeon/glaceon). Probably gonna be difficult though.

This reminds me, I tried a ghost eevelution before too. I made mine white-ish because everyone else went purple for their ghost eevelutions
 
I might try a small symbol, but nothing too wide or it'll combat with the curl markings on the ears and around the eyes or simply leave the forehead blank.

Originally, the design was much more wispy and it was about the color of the markings on the face. I decided I preferred a more 'shadow' look.
 
I haven't updated my art thread for some time here. I wasn't sure if it had to be solely Poke'mon fanart which I will draw on occasion. I've been a bit busy between work and getting ready for an upcoming Con, so my side artwork has been slow. I have been sort of working on a Sonic comic on the side, since it's something I've been planning for two or so years.

I'm also working on some Poke'mon bookmarks with mini keychains to sell at an Art Table at another Con in October. I might post small samples of that up here when they're done--sans what the kaychains look like, of course.

But here, have some Sonic web comic pages. I worked on these in Flash--something new I wanted to try. Sketches are done in Photoshop as are some of the more painted backgrounds. I'll be making an account on a web comic site when I finish the first chapter.

Why thank you~ I had a bit of an N art explosion for a week before I tried calming it down a bit, but I am glad you like them :>
 
Heheh. I do that too. Once I had this One Piece boom, and I was sitting on the floor in my room, drawing nothing but One Piece characters lol!
