Special Illustration Rares of All Eeveelution ex Cards Teased from “Prismatic Evolutions!”

Oh boy, here we go again...

And it's only going to get worse if you ask me, that video of people clearing out those Costco-exclusive 151 tin bundles just breaks my heart.
Prismatic Evolutions

- Sub set; means bigger chance for a reprint/restock
I'd say yes to an extent, judging by the release schedule it's very likely but there's always a chance a subset could end up like Shrouded Fable.
- made according to fan wishes
I doubt that. Eevee and its evolutions are major draws to the IP (just look at Let's Go Eevee for example) and they're some of the few cards that, outside of a single Eevee Illustration Rare from Twilight Masquerade, don't have a Double rare or higher card in the SV-era.
- Hyped, because it's an affordable version (for now) of evolving skies
I'll yield to this, the fact that Pokémon Center sold out of their initial exclusive ETBs are a big indicator of that.
- Higher pullrates like every subset
Yeah... no. The pull rates in Temporal Forces and future sets were altered due to the unwashed swine that are investors squealing that Illustrator Rares and Secret Illustrator Rares were just too easy to pull in SVI-PAR and Shrouded Fable having similar pull rate problems showed us that not even subsets were immune to this change.

If TPCi cares about its players and collectors they'd bump up the pull rate but I really doubt that'll happen unless people actually step away from their screens, get off their butts, travel over to TPCi's HQ, and protest these changes in person (and many other changes made to the IP that they find abhorrent).

I wonder if people don’t know what stained glass looks like. None of them does. If you refer to the Pokémon themselves, yeah all Tera pokemon hve that effect. Other than that all cards have a different art direction. What are you all seeing?
I'm not talking about the tera effect, but that does help. I'm talking about the styling and patterns for the backgrounds. I can envision them as stain glass windows.

This only makes 9 of 32 SIR cards. If we're splitting them between Pokémon ex and Supporters, that leaves us with 7 SIR ex cards left to work with. What will these other 7 SIR cards be?

Hot take- I actually think tera hats look kinda sick and give the cards an extra color flare that can bring life into some of the more dull color schemes or ones that rely heavily on a single color with different shades of it.
I agree. There's a massive subsect of Pokemon fans who have long forgotten that this is the silliest and most whimsical majoe franchise in the world and whose entire premise is 30-foot tall metal snakes beating the life out of a purple pile of Sludge and try to view everything through their super-serious lenses as opposed to looking at things from the angle they were intended to be looked at from, which is with wonder and joy. Nothing about this series has ever been dead serious long enough to look at a crystal hat with all of the types represented as multicolored gems and warrant a reaction akin to "grrrr....this is NOT the Pokemon i remember!!!!". Nobody is around lont enough to justify hating shiny crystals. I I personally love Tera stuff and I think the Crystalline, sparkling and bedazzled aesthetic of it all is very Pokemon-Y, in a way that most of us who grew up since first getting into the games have forgotten how to appreciate. And, sadly, instead of improving and building on Terastallization, it'll be booted out in the next games because capitalism doesn't reward anything that doesn't have a big yellow NEW!!! sticker slapped on it 😭

I feel like the Sylveon is the only one where the stellar crown actually works with the art.

Agreed, and the Leafeon and Jolteon do the best job of taking the bulk of the attention off of it imo
