hello,

I"m not an experienced Rayquaza player, so take my words with a grain of salt.

That said, other Pokemon/techs to consider:

Altaria (prevent weakness)
Gallade & Maxie (counter weakness, added stability, good non-ex attacker for DCE)
Milotic (and possibly AZ) vs. Puzzle of Time (another Pokemon to bench, easier to pull off, less card space)
Ninetales (prevents Skyfield from being bumped w/o hex maniac)
Manaphy-EX (free retreat is always helpful since you already play waters, plus he's another bench-sitter)
Yveltal XY & basic darks (helps vs Trevenant & Night March)

You may also consider robo substitute. Mostly because they are expendable, and if they take up a spot on your bench that you need for another Pokémon you can just discard it. I would also play at least two Winona. They can set you up pretty quick.

11 basic Pokémon doesn't seem to be enough in this deck.
I wouldn't go under 14.

If you really want to speed up the deck, 4 copies of Rayquaza EX may be usefull to be sure to have at least one on turn 1.
You could cut 1 M-Rayquaza EX for it. 2 copies may be enough :)

Wouldn't a Milotic line be more helpfull than a Zoroark one, especially with some Battle Compressors ?
Perhaps adding 2 more Battle Compressors would help this deck to be even more faster. The synergy with VS Seeker is great, and you could play 2 copies of Buddy-Buddy Rescue to ensure a turn 1 Hoopa EX.

I agree with @xaej806, Manaphy EX is a must have here, only 1 copy of course.

What about Professor Sycamore ? Do you prefer Shauna / Birch ?

The only concern I have with sycamore is that I might discard my puzzles of time. I prefer Shauna over birch. I like the idea of Manaphy EX and buddy rescue. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try out these changes.

Just got back into the game. And MRay was the deck I choose to specifically go after. My only thoughts is that "Speed" Ray doesn't really need the speed if you're running Mega Ascension Ray, with Winona, And Hoopa. I personally don't run a Sesmitoad, but I have 4-4 Ray lines. Only 3 Shaymin, 1-1 Ninetales, 2-2 Altaria, 1 Hoopa Ex, 1 Manaphy. Then I stripped out all the single trainer lines and just went for more draw power. Took out the Xerosics the Puzzles the hex the judge add a couple more energies incase you lose them. And that's about it. I haven't had many plays with it yet. But it's so fun to run and seems to be very successful
