Hey guys, just started playing pokemon last week and I'm having lots of fun with it. I've built a deck with the help of some local players and stuck to purchasing singles for the time-being since I'm not a huge collector.

3-3 Wailord
1-1 Blissey (Prime)
2-1-2 Feraligatr (Prime)
2 Uxie (LA)
1 Azelf (LA)
2 Spiritomb
2 Snorlax (RR)
~20 Pokemon

4 Bebe's Search
2 Volkner's Prophecy
2 Prof Oak's New Theory
2 Interviewer's Questions
2 Seeker
2 Pokemon Collector
4 Super Scoop-up
2 Rare Candy
2 Switch
2 Expert Belt
1 BTS
~ 25 Trainers

13 Water Energy
1 Warp Energy
1 Cyclone Energy
~ 15 Energy

Strategy~
Totodile -> Rare Candy -> Feraligatr. Wailmer/Wailord + Energy

BTS should allow me to seeker/SSU cheesy heal. Blissey is for the hard-heal. The rest of the cards are for speed. The Warp and Cyclone energies are just for variety. Snorlax is a speed bump after I lose a Wailord and his pick and collect will allow me get the energy back so I can load up another Wailord.

I think this may be the final version of the deck. Thanks to everyone for their contributions.

If your running blissey prime you will definite need fisherman supporter. Also 19 energy is way too much. Try running 12-15.
Use pokemon collector and pokemon communication, both from HGSS set to help u get out ur pokemon faster. Also put in 3 expert belts from arceus set to make your wailords stronger
Broken time space stadium from platinum set helps your speed, and if ur worried about weakness, try a 1-0-1 or 1-1-1 line of exploud from supreme victors

I think adding a Broken Time Space from Platinum could really help speed it maybe -2 full heal for the BTS. All the best in your Pokemon career.:D

Thanks for the input. I feel myself gravitating away from the Tank style with all of the healing and instead would like to be much more aggressive with this deck since I want to be able to knock out pokemon by turn 2, turn 3 by the latest. Expert Belts sounds great. Would Pluspower also be okay? I know it's only one-time use, but 130 damage is crazy!

You should put double colorless energy in this deck if I'm not mistaken his second attack takes 2 water and 2 DCE. That means you can be attacking my turn 2. Also I would put in expertbelt that makes wailord hp 200. He will be well out of the ohko range. BTS, Azelf LA, and pokemon collector are a must.

How about instead of blissey try golduck from Triumphant as it has good synergy with this deck.
It's attack uses up the energy you have which works well in a high energy deck

@Tifton- His Swallow up is (C)(W)(W)(W) so DCE is pretty useless to me.
@Electabuzzy - The Golduck with Natural Remedy?

Azelf LA?
Pokemon Collector sounds like a good idea.
BTS seems kind of weird, won't most of my opponents be running it? Thus I don't have to?

In the masters division if they are running evolution decks then they'll be running BTS, how ever SP Decks like Luxchomp are still insanely popular(because they win) and they don't run BTS and you'll be out speeded by them most of the time. Unless you get really lucky with the rare candy draws.

Golduck TR is OK but maybe just try 1-1 since u dont want to deter from tanking with wailord.
as for aggressiveness and quick KOs, wailord is not the pokemon to do that. it has 200 hp if its belted so you must take advantage of that and tank, instead of focuing on KOs. beside, swallow up would only do damage if you have more HP then the defending pokemon, so a heavily damaged wailord isnt too useful. focus on tanking and less agression and you should be ok. try less super scoop ups, more seekers, (3 of each?) or even some Poke Healer + to make sure your wailords keep going strong,

Are there any recommendations on what to take out so I can fit in BTS, Expert Belt, and whatever else you guys have in mind?

Still run 4 SSU, as they don't help your opponent.
I would suggest switching the Engineer's Adjustments for Expert Belt.

If this is a League Tournament, than that's fine. Otherwise, the Casual Deck Garage would be a more appropriate Forum.

dmaster out.

You could try playing it with Feraligar Prime and make the deck so you can spam down the energies on your Wailord quickly and go for the KO a lot faster
**sorry i didnt see you already had Feraligatr prime on the deck list :D**
I would actually go with Interviewers Questions over Fisherman. Its better if you start out with it rather that having fisherman sitting in your hand at the start of the game so you can get the extra energy you need in your hand to play down with rain dance.

Yes, this deck will be used for an upcoming tournament. I will also be using it for casual league play as well however.

I think IQ is much better than Seeker. I also think Snorlax is my answer for energy retrieval, so I've created a new list. Blissey's heal is too costly so I'm going to use super scoop ups with BTS to heal instead.
