With a level and an item based around Animal Crossing, I guess it's safe to assume that the boy/girl (maybe different colors/outfits) main character from Animal Crossing will be a playable character.Togeshroob said:

CM, I disagree with you Animal Crossing theory. I think that Tom Nook is going to be the Animal Crossing character. I mean, he's perfect for the job.
(Z, or Grab Attack)
You'd pull out a Bug net, and grab the opponents. Then, you throw them somewhere (or something like that)
(Up + B, or the Saving Attack)
Let's say you were falling off a cliff. You'd throw a fishing line out towards the edge, and hopefully, it would catch, allowing you to get back up.
(Final Smash)
Bell Bomb
A huge bag of bells would drop out of nowhere, and burst open, sending billions of bells flying everywhere, in random places, hitting all characters but Tom.
I can think of many, many more attacks for him, but....

If they are doing that. That means Sonic will most likely be in the game. Sweet.

Here is a new item called Pitfall. I guess it was used in Animal crossing and I have never seen this item before. However it seems that if you get it and hit someone it will make you fall through the floor. The item looks pretty cool. It sort of looks like a switch palace from Super Mario World.

He's been in very high demand as a character, and I'm sure almost every Fire Emblem fan is happy about this. And Aether? What? Maybe a Fire Emblem fan can explain this.
EDIT: Also, has anyone heard about the change in the countdown to "Starting Today"? I think it could mean the recreation of Sakurai's blog, but who knows. Does anyone else have any information on it?

Whoops, I forgot to mention the fact that it is in fact just a rumor going around, but if it's true it means Nintendo has the licenses to a bunch of Sonic soundtracks. (And a very intense Brawl follower talked to me the other day about the topic of the Sega licenses) I think it could happen, but only time will tell. In the mean time,Porygon said:
