Stage 1 Toolbox (Cincinno/Yanmega/Zoroark)

So, it's been a few months since I've played the TCG, so I put this deck together since it was relatively cheap and seemed like it would work well. Obviously, I haven't played in a while, so let me know if I'm forgetting any new staplels, etc. This list obviously needs fine-tuning, so here it is:

Pokemon: 21
4-4 Cincinno
2-2 Yanmega
2-2 Zoroark
2 Cleffa
1 Tyrogue
1 Bouffalant
1 Unown Dark

T/S/S: 29
2 PETM
2 Judge
2 PONT
4 Copycat
4 Collector
4 Pokemon Reversal
2 Dual Ball
2 Junk Arm
3 Pluspower
4 Poke-comm

Energy: 10

4 DCE
4 Sp. dark
2 Rescue

So, basically your standard Stage 1 box. Swarm Cincinno for good, quick damage. Zoroark helps with Reshiram/Zekrom, Magnezone, etc. Unown lets me get any clutch Sp darks for Zoroark to OHKO the former two. Babies are pretty self explanatory. Let me know if I'm forgetting anything, especially in terms of trainers/supporters. All help is appreciated.

only thing I'm confused on is why you have a 2-2 split of dark and sp dark. You don't have any cards that only work on basic energy so wouldn't 4 sp dark be better?

Yeah, that makes sense. However, would I benefit from running basic energies with cards that were tailored to them, or would running spec. darks be better?

The only important cards that only affect basic energy are energy search, not a great card, and energy retrieval/fisherman/burned tower, the energy recovery cards. Since your deck won't use much energy you probably won't need to use the energy recovery cards so sp darks should be fine.
