Ruling Start with Fossils ?

I have a Question about Fossils, cause I never played with them ^^

If I have a start hand like this:

1 Fossil
6 Energy's

What I have to do ?

1. Start with the Fossil
2. Get a Mulligan
3. I can choose: Mulligan or Start with the Fossil
