I agree. Marketing has literally nothing to do with the typing of Emboar...I don't particularly see how it matters. Marketing? They're aiming towards kids, and I doubt kids really care. They probably did it on purpose for the sake of being different. People nitpick on everything.
Amen to that. For every 1 guy who hates it, there's probably 50 guys out there who are ok with it... you just don't see the 50 guys post as much as the hater because people are much more vocal when it comes to dislikes rather than likes.
Which is useless

I for one like all the names. They are all very creative, people are just A. addicted to japanese names theyve been using all year and/or B. to lazy to try and figure out why.
Atleast it isnt like most of the names people tried to come up with. If you don't like it, whoopdedoo. Give it a nickname and get on with your life.

Not quite. Though you're right about "maru," "miju" comes from "mijuku," meaning naive. "Maru" refers to Mijumaru's snowball-like head, and "mijuku" refers to the fact that it's the first Pokemon in its evolution family and is young and naive. "Mizu" actually means water, not "miju."Well "Mijumaru" translated sort of means "water round". You tell me if that sounds like a 6-year old came up with it.
