Hey, I played the tcg game a few years back but I never had the money to fund it so i gave up. I can afford it now so funding isnt an issue anymore. I was wondering what would be a wise buy? I wanted to make a Sabelock deck but its so close to the rotation that Im not sure if its worth it. Should I just buy a couple booster boxes of unleashed? Suggestions would be great , I wanna get back to tournaments!

Sbalelock is a very good deck+it's not getting rotated. Get some boxes of platinum, rising rivals, and hgss and you're set for sablelock. maybe sv, too

alright, so i think to have something to play with at the league while i build a deck im gonna grab a HG/SS theme deck, then ill buy one booster box and some sleeves. Then I will trade around see what i can get then ill buy another booster box What boxes should i be looking at? originally I wanted a luxchomp deck but i think its getting rotated. First box I buy should be what? thanks

The only thing from the Luxchomp being rotated in Roseanne's Research which can be replaced by Pokemon Collector, so Luxchomp is a safe dec choice. (Next format will be MD-on)
