I considered Drapion/Unown K and...I can't run it either way. I only have one Unown K. Best of luck to those of you who try it.

^ Pokeblower/Metagross/Palkia to bring out a tech on your opponents side (Claydol/Uxie/ect.) then you use Drapions attack to do 40 and 40 snipe, an no retreat. Then next turn you use 2 Kind to remove the 40 placed last turn from their active. Then you just repeat the cycle locking your opponent with a bad active and wrecking the bench.

Interesting, but seems pretty slow. You're only doing 40 a turn, which gives your opponent a chance to figure out a counter. And the people around me often use 4 unown G's in their decks.

40 is a lot if it's hitting your main Pokemon and you can't do anything about it. Imagine you having a sitting powered up Dusknoir, and your Claydol is active. You can't retreat and so I just keep hitting your Dusknoir for 40. The 3 turns you took to power him up, he's gone already.

Ok, 4 Unown G's. But they won't do anything? Unown G can't stop damage. It only stops effects of attacks. The only thing it can do is let you retreat. Which if you do, you're main hitter will be so damaged by then, I'll be able to OHKO it.

Meh, it really depends on what I can get in time....

My main options are:

-Kingdra (Don't tell me there is NO way of getting around resistance or Shaymin)
-Butterfree/Cherrim
-Drapion

Of course, I'm gonna (Kansas accent ftw) need some stuff from PT. I'll need Vulpix and Dialga G LV. X/Manectric for Kingdra, Shaymin LV. X for Butterfree/Cherrim, and Drapion LV. X for Drapion.

I have a question on the whole Drapion thing. If you just remove the damage anyway, why couldn't you just use something like Ambipom MD since it does the 40 quicker without having to set up the Unown K and Drapion lv.X?

True, but Drapion keeps the Tech tethered to the Active spot, so you can just kill their bench.

okay enough with the drapion talk

remember the subject

The subject is states decks isnt it?
And from what i've seen they are discussing a states deck...

I like dustox....ALOT.

I've also been working on some decent lists for a couple of other decks, Mightyena + Skuntank G is going to be big, so is an offensive Palkia G Lv.X deck.

My decks are:

- RushNoir
- Shaymin/Sceptile/Torterra
- Rampardos
- Weavile Galactic Deck

But Shaymin seems the best one for me.

Dialga says sup to shaymin and sceptile.

Everybody says that but I did so much testing, and Dialga G did not matter when I used Poke-Blower and KO-d the Dialga G Lv.X

Just use Poke-Blower, then the thing will never get in the way.

Oh, but you forget, I can have Dialga G LV. X out for at least a turn, meaning I can shut down that +40 HP. That gives me a better chance of scoring the KO. With Sceptile locked, you'll need 4 energies (if you use the MD one or the Level X) to even think of killing me. Good luck getting that qucikly. I can then Warp Point next turn, runing your Poke-Blower and proceeding to sweep.

Shaymin variants are good decks, but they rely a little too much on Poke-Bodies to become the BDIF. Dialga G hurts them.

You need to have to attach 4 energies in order to KO me, and I might be able to KO your 100HP, if Shaymin is Active. Torterra needs 8 energies in play in order to KO me. Even with the aid of Shaymin, it will still take a little while.

Also, what if I run Kingdra with some techs that get around Resistance and cancel out your Bodies? You could be stuggling to set-up anything if I get a fast Kingdra.

Same applies for other decks that can T2.

hmmm what i'm i going too play at states? it really depends on what i am able to get in pre releases and packs/decks (if they are any good) but my options are:

beautifly/sceptile/
rampardos and lucario-basically a mario

i've been swaying more and more towards my beautifly/sceptile option, beautifly may only be able hit for 60 but with a sceptile tech i could do 60 for 2 energies and make my opponent asleep poisoned and burned. Is that great or what?

ima build toxi-tank cuz i like basics, T2 60+poison is sweet, and it kills champ as well with weakness and built in G.
