Does anyone have an idea when states medals will arrive? My daughter placed 3rd,and we were told sometime in late April? That seems a long time to wait for something that should of been at the tourney prior to it starting.

Also why weren't they there before states? Thanks!

Snorlax, I think they're made IN japan, so it was probably delayed due to the huge earthquake, tsumami, thousands dead..I'm happy your daughter got third but isnt a small wait understandable given the circumstances?
 
They shipping to your residence or to the TO's?

I understand that an unfortunate disaster has hit Japan. My heart goes out to all that's affected. If the medals were being made when it hit (which was 2 weeks ago).
Is it bad planning on the company when a reward isn't available? Reason is they should of been in hand when the tournament started. The cities medals were available and I would think that states was planned with the switch from trophy to medal a while ago.
I hope this doesn't come off wrong or harsh. Its not intended that way what so ever. Just confused on why they weren't prepared for the tournaments. Again if It is from the tragedy is why we have to wait..I can wait a long time. We understand that.
 
way to throw the guilt mlouden lol. they will get there snorlax just patiently wait and i would believe they would ship to you.
 
If you were told that they would arrive some time in late April, don't you think it would be logical to assume they would arrive some time in late April?
 
Point well taken GHJamesGH. What is the reason for the delay is what I'm wondering.
 
Just saying the Cities medals are made in China, so delay due to the disaster in Japan wouldn't make much sense. Late April seems... Reasonable, I still think they should have just handed out trophies at the event though.

I don't even know what M03 is talking about, unless Japan is the middle man between here and China?
 
If it makes you feel better, everyone is still waiting. Myself included.
They should have trophies man... Nationals is definitely going to have trophies right?
 
The knowledge that we wouldn't have medals in time was circulating before the earthquake, I'm thinking the delay is just cause by the change, they normally only make 1 set a year now its at least 2, some paper work probably got in the way
 
Nothing as of this morning. My daughter placed 3rd over the weekend (congrats Emily!) So we will be waiting for one more.
