Alright, U.K. Nationals are coming up in 14 days, and I have no idea what to play.
I want to win, but as usual I want to have fun. Before anyone asks, I'm not asking for a decklist, I'm just stuck for choice. I can play literally anything I want but I can't choose. Please help me out!

Use Dialga G, locking trainers, bodies, powers (W/ Spray) and being able to Poke Turn to return yourself is just priceless

or play what you like to play, i like to play my leafeon deck, as whatever card i draw, i can use it, now thats priceless.

The Metagame around here is all a bit random. But all the top players have gone for Kingdra, Dialga G and Palkia G.

Here's the best deck in format. Gengar. Not GeChamp, Gengar. 4 Pokedex, 4 Candy, 4 PokeDrawer, 2-2 Claydol, 2 Uxie, instant speed.

play Dialga G lv X its great fast but im using dusknoir lv X guess who from... :p

That deck is fast, gives great damage potential and great hand refreshment so if you got a spare set use it lol

Well,

Decks that have teched in 1-0-1 Ampharos can lock the Gengar's fainting spell and will fail against most decks once the time comes. Sorry about that.

Maybe play Shiftry or Floatzel GL. They are pretty consistent and nice decks to play.

yeah, name 1 deck have ing a 1-0-1 ampharos tech, they would all retaliate against a spread deck, against a crobat G, or other random sniper.

Porygon-Z promo, control Shiftry, and Dialga G are the most solid decks I see.

Porygon is fast and supremely consistent, but steamrolled by Rampardos unless it outspeeds. Shiftry has huge potential, but is screwed by Unown G / Warp Point / Poke Turn. Dialga G has T1 Deafen lock + Mesprits, but will be prepared for.

Try to have a good matchup against what you know that many people in your area will be using. If you know SP pokemon will be used, also prepare to see anti-SP techs.

I am especially proud of my Porygon+Dialga G and Shiftry+Mismagius GL decklists. But I have no DP-on cards in real life, and my parents disapprove of the game. :(

Expect Kingdra.

In my area at states, both seniors finalists used it and junior's winner used it

He can't play RR decks as his Nats are right before Nats. People should really read.
Anyway, go with what you consider a good deck. Try something rogueish. Something lightning should wreak havoc upon your meta.

I suspect that when the next set comes out for Nats, Gechamp is going to be better.

Well, Look at Shiftry RR.

GeChamp is not going to be BDIF or any better.

palkoa g just palkia g with a 1-1dialga g tech and three mesprit, crobat, uxie, two spiritomb you can reallly get a spread then snipe finish with a little setup/distruption in the mix.Azelf works good to.
