Stupid Ipod questions

Ok. My Uncle found an Ipod just sitting there on the ground in a casino parking lot. I have no idea how it works. Can someone answer these very simple questions? And just letting you know, that it was just an Ipod, and a car recharger sitting there. (Not even headphones)

How do I turn it off? (I think I already know how, but every time I do, the battery is either dead, or almost dead)

How do I delete music? (As the previous owner had no taste)

How do I add music?

Thanks very much. If I have this in the wrong board then move it to the correct board.

you need to a wire that connects the ipod to the usb port on your computer.
That answers all of your questions
It charges that ipod when it's connected and
You choose what songs you want on the computer

A similiar thing happened to me:

My aunt found an I-pod when she was mowing the lawn. She brings it to our house, and we see it has NO ADAPTER. OR A WIRE TO CONNECT! So, we go to the Apple store, and we get it THERE. You could also go to thier website. That may offer some insight.

The previous owner had like 12 pictures of themselves in different poses. It was strange. Do you know how to turn it off?

No idea. It is white on the front, and silver on the back. It's 2GB. On the website they called it Ipod classic. If that helps.

To turn off the newer iPods, you hold down the Play/Pause button.
However, if it's an older one, I'm not sure. Just try holding down various buttons and see if that works.

1. Yehh just hold the Play/Pause button, I think all versions had the same way of the on/off function. Like the old Ipod was used int his way.

Wait, so I'm guessing you don't have a cable with this? If you don't you'll need to get one to add/delete music.
