BW/BW2 SubWay!

By having a good team, and knowing what to do against everybody. Before you ask, there is no "ideal" team.

Grass types defanately help, and dark types aren't to common to fight, but I only know that much.

Oh, and bring an Icy type on the Wifi train. Dragon types are REALLY popular.

Before the battle starts, look up your opponent with that. Lists all the Pokemon they could possibly have and their sets.

I used this team to get a 39 win streak (failed from misclick :():

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Jolly Nature
168 Def/88 Sp. Def/252 Speed
- Spore
- Mean Look
- Lock On
- Sheer Cold

Honestly, this is the cheapest strategy you can get. I didnt use mean look cuz they hardly ever withdraw, and as long as smeargle is faster (and with 139 in speed he's pretty good), they only have 2 chances to wake up, or they're screwed.

Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Adamant Nature
44 HP/252 Atk/212 Speed
- Spore
- Substitute
- Stone Edge
- Focus Punch

Trademark set that gets the job done...

Hydreigon @ Leftovers
Modest Nature
252 Sp. Atk/252 Speed/4 HP
- Dragon Pulse
- Dark Pulse
- Surf
- Fire Blast

This guy brings out the power and the coverage, especially against those nasty ground, rock, and steel types throughout the subway.

Honestly, my team is only okay, there are people who've hit over 300 win streaks. I just used what was currently available and it came out fairly well.

dragonpulse: Super single. lol its the only one with 3 pokemon past 21 cars :p. Occasionally, I did switch between my smeargles:

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Sassy Nature
- Spore
- Trick Room
- Endeavor
- Seismic Toss

ah, well pretty much the regular trains have 3 groups of 7 with a boss and only dish out 16 BP. The super trains have unlimited groups of 7 and deal out 5, then 6, then 7 and so on BP every time you beat 7 (I got 39 combo so 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 = 35 BP). As you can see it racks up pretty quickly if you get good. Im not, but people getting 337 combos got 1368 points and anything they wanted. (lucky :()

I've been using Haxorus, Darmanitan and Carracosta. I just unlocked the Super Train, clear streak.
Haxorus has Expert Belt; moveset: Outrage, Swords Dance, Earthquake, Brick Break.
Darmanitan has Choice Scarf; moveset: Flare Blitz, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Hammer Arm.
Carracosta has Quick Claw: moveset: Surf, Aqua Jet, Stone Edge, Shell Smash.
Can't remember the natures... but they were all from my in-game team, so they aren't correctly EV-trained... Still, I managed to do the 21 battle streak, and I'm only battling in the subway to get some of the ev-boosting items...

I use Braviary, Volcarona, and Dragonite.

Braviary@White Herb
-Brave Bird
-Super Power
-Thrash
-U turn/fly
Jolly, EVs: 252 SPD, 252 ATK, 4 HP

Volcarona@focus sash
-quiver dance
-bug buzz
-fiery dance
-hidden power(water)
Modest, EVs: 252 SPD, 252 SP. ATK, 4 HP

Dragonite@dragon gem
-Outrage
-earthquake
-thunder punch
-dragon dance
Naive(it was imported, not the right nature), EVs: 252 SPD, 252 ATK,
4 HP.

I got 21 win streak and unlocked super with this team, it does me well. And I beat wifi train #20 with it.

I swith all the time. I love my rotom though. Fir/Elc with great special stats and edcent stats everywhere else? + Levitate :D

I prefer doubles. I usually send out my special sweeper and a mixed sweeper or defensive pokemon.
The lat two are usually another special based pokemon and a physical tank.
Raikou serves as my 1st sweeper. Hydreigon is a good mixed sweeper with crunch and Dragon Pulse
Latias or Rotom are great right now for storng special power and defensive.
I also like Metagross for a good physical tank.

You should make the most versatile team possible. You should be able to hit Super Effectively on almost all types and have a team with good synergy. IT helps to breed for IVs and natures and to EV them properly. Its also common to use a weather, tailwind, or trick room teams to gain an edge.

If you build a good enough team, the only thing that should be taking you out is your luck running out.

I don't have the rest of the team worked out yet, but I use a Porygon-Z and it's amazing. I don't have a choice scarf yet, but that's what the item should be

Porygon-Z @ Choice Scarf
Modest
252 Sp.A/ 252 Spd. 4 HP
Adaptability
-Tri Attack
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Focus Blast/Dark Pulse

I beat the regular singles train with just this, and that was without the choice scarf.
