If it was it's weakness wouldn't change and it would have a worse offensive typing but I guess it could be used in gardevoir
I hope the Sandslash is a reprint of the one from GUR.

Hey @Articuno_Aria, @Brave Vesperia, and @GrandPanacea at the top of this page it says "'Sun & Moon Trainer Kit - Alolan Sandslash and Alolan Raichu' Announced!" when I am fairly certen it is supposed to say "'Sun & Moon Trainer Kit - Alolan Sandslash and Alolan Ninetails' Announced!"

Yeah but Ninetales could actually be playable. (which has never happened for these decks)
these are starter kits, so its unlikely it will be like all the starter kits, usually sub-par starter pokemon, it will be nice to have though in a collection.Glad they changed the types

I'll probably pick this up just for the foil Sandslash. I'm running it in an excellent Empoleon Sandslash deck, and I'm using one of each different foil print: prerelease, Staff prerelease, and reverse holofoil. I can probably afford to add a steel one...
