Sunday, 4/13, Pokemon is Dead, Where are the Scans?!

Yeah, even the 4th place one is nice. They are quite expensive, so stop your complaining people.At least we have trophy's.

WPM, brilliant article. I started reading it, then looked at the pictures and thought "hold on, WPM isn't being entirely serious, is he?". That was just great, I was lol-ing by the end. And the little note at the end just made it all the better. I suppose it's often harder to get sarcasm into text, but the pictures should've given it away.
Great stuff.
 
wow, I believed you for a second WPM... but it was kind of weird that most pictures were different then what you said, except for the trophy thing, they should make better designs...

This was just so hilarious, I normally don't post here but erm, good job ^^ although I didn't know that many adults came to SoCal, in the Netherlands it's a bit more balanced between people around 18 and adults.

They are made of CRYSTAL. That's expensive. The first place SPT trophies were around $500 each to make.

That was mean WPM. I actually beleived it until I read the thing where it says its sarcasm, and thought you might shut down the site.
 
Ur, I'm glad you posted that addition to the end. I was quite confused. I was about to post a long winded message about, "Well, here in MAINE...", but I guess that's unnecessary now. ;)

I had to check the date to make sure we hadn't done a time-warp to the 1st.

No, really, the only thing seriously wrong with the TCG today is the lack of decent cards, making Gallevoir so very dominant it just ain't funny no more, next set will hopefully change that. But yeah, I know way more adults/teenagers who play Pokémon than I know kids, although I know kids don't usually go to the league, they just buy cards to throw them at their friends screaming some random attack.

The judges on those photos did look pretty heartless and mean, though :p
 
Sure they are made of crystal but can't they be creative enough to mold it to look like a Pikachu or Mudkip? It will surely look better than a plain boring rectangle with tint on it. :F
 
Well he does own the site, he can do whatever he wants, and that was cunning there, even though it was sarcasm, i did agree on some parts of it, probably because i lve in AP so i have a different view on how POP runs things here.
 
Hey, I almost fell to WPM's sarcasm, too. That is, until I looked at the pictures.

Like others have mentioned, he does have a point about the trophies. I think a regular trophy with, say, a Pikachu or an Electivire (this year's Regionals promo) would've been better.

Wow that had me going till the end. What really made me mad was how u called the trophies pieced of crap lol. Glad to know all that was sarcasim.
