Super Mario Galaxy 2

Well I just bought the game at 10 am (a little bit ago). Did not open it yet, but excited to play it. :D

I think I'm gonna have to wait before I buy this game, but meh it's not the most important thing to me.

super luigi galaxy is playing as luigi SPOILER
once you get 120 stars with him you get a level called star festival where you run around the course collecting 100 purple coins there no enemies and infinite star bits you can go to the castle and get a special picture taken thats saved to your wii it`s a diffrent picture if you play as mario END SPOILER it`s on the red sphere in the sky that you get blasted to from the star on the ground in the garden

Think about it this way: 1st game was Game of the Year when it came out. It has stayed in the top 10 games for wii since then. This one... is 10k times better. That's saying ALOT.

Also Tom, thanks for ruining the plot of this game for everyone. You are indeed a heartless person. That'd be like telling everyone that their player collects 8/16 badges and then defeats the champion in Pokemon, telling everyone that Yugi's name is Atemn, or telling everyone that snape kills dumbledore. Horrible person you are Tom

is there any mario game where peach doesn`t get kidnapped

Can't wait to get my hands on SMG2! I loved the first one. The massive worlds was awesome, and the story line was interesting.(I couldn't believe it, Boswer kidnapped Peach! I was shocked!) The thing I'm looking forward to is... YOSHI!!! He is my favorite character, and he looks awesome in this game. Again, can't wait!(I wonder if Bowser will kidnap Peach...Naah!)

Mario Party?

Super Luigi Galaxy...looks like I'm gonna have to go back and play out my SMG1 then. Does your "High Score" of coins affect the game in any way? I've been trying to get as many as possible, but I dunno if it's just a waste of my time or not.

Reading up on it, I found:

Whomp's Fortress from Super Mario 64
Ricco Harbor from Sunshine
And some other level from SMG1

That is pretty cool. I hope to get to those levels soon, I am going to be playing mine for like an hour tonight.

What are you most excited about in it? The same SMG goodness and even more.
Why did you decide to get the first one? Some of the best level design anywhere and great graphics and controls.
Did you like the first one? Of course who didn't.

I'm so excited to get this one in a few days. It's so much better from what I heard. I highly recommend both.

dmaster out.

What are you most excited about in it?YOSHI!
Why did you decide to get the first one?it just looked like fun
Did you like the first one?heck yeah

I actually got the game AND guide on Sunday, and the guide is helpful. A lot.

Bowser fights were more fun in SMG 1, but they still are cool.

With galaxies, I disliked the EXACT ideas being repeated. I mean shiverburn? Really? Freezeflame was enough.

is the game any good? cause im thinking about getting it and i never even got the first one so i cant really speak for the questions in this thread but i wanted to know if its worth buying?

I find it a really good game, but currently not working on it (I was a little at first), because I am finishing up my Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess first at the moment.

I've been blown away by the quality of this game.

My impressions so far:

1. FAR more challenging than the first one. This is the first time in a VERY long time that I've actually gotten really really really stuck on some levels.

2. Bowser is too easy, as always, but this is OK since other aspects of the game want to make you through your controller through the tv screen.

3. I didn't think it was possible, but the music in this game is even better than the first one (which also had an epic soundtrack). I would seriously play the game JUST because the soundtrack is so good.

4. Best graphics on the Wii, period. Really beautiful game, with a lot of love put into it.

5. Did I mention that it's really hard? :p

6. Pretty much, this is Galaxy 1 mixed with 64 AND NSMB wii and then on top of that, perfected in every way. The level designs are fantastic. There are some really weird, and fun situations with gravity (some good ones in some of the bowser levels).

It is DEFINITELY worth getting this game.

i got it on sunday. i just got to gobbleguts and cant beat him. any tips?

Gobblegut is the dragon, right? If he is... just. keep. moving. Whenever the part where you attack him comes, get close, spin, and move before the the head attacks you.

d00d, I haven't played it but I really want to. The main thing I'm concerned about is the difficulty level. Is it really that hard?
