Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U

So how is everyone's online experience? I've started seeing a wider variety of characters. Got my ass kicked by a couple falcos and it was beautiful. Been using Pac man. He's super fun.

My online experience, so far, is pretty okay. I tend to do 1 on 1's mostly since that makes for less lag (obviously) but get my ass handed to me most of the time since I'm not sure how to properly utilize Training Mode. But, I do tend to do better when listening to some boss songs like Rules of Nature, A Stranger I Remain, and stuff.

There's a Nintendo direct confirmed to air today where they will talk a bit about upcoming Nintendo titles scheduled for release this year.

Do you think we'll see anything related to Smash 4?

:p

So how'd everyone like that Duck Hunt trailer? I for one liked it and found it quite amusing. Like Bowser Jr, I would've liked to see it before the 3DS version came out, though.

I loved the Duck Hunt trailer. Not for the reveal, of course, but as a video it was well done.

As for online experience, I dropped the 3DS version about two weeks ago. The online was way too laggy on our wireless. That and playing the game with things like pivoting messed up my circle pad. It was very short-lived. =L

Kind of makes me wish I had waited for Wii U. I loved the 40 hours I played on 3DS, but now I have played a lot of what the game has to offer. It would have been sweet to walk into Wii U as a completely fresh experience. Of course local multi on the big screen is already a big change, but it could have been BRAND NEW, y'know?

That DH trailer was the best out of them all so far imo due to how it almost felt like a music video with the motions in sync with the music half the time. That was extremely entertaining, and the shot of him swimming helps my theory of the 3DS version being made for those who liked Melee most of all (so it works like Melee did), and the Wii U version for those who liked how Brawl worked, but with both having the fighting speeds and such being in between Melee and Brawl.

You just asked the same exact thing twice in one post. And, as it said in the video, Mewtwo is being programmed and developed right now and is to be released next year, so that should answer your question.

By meaning coded I was asking by event. How will we get it permanently? By a patch I hope.:)

Right now, the only way known to get Mewtwo permanently is by buying both games and then downloading the content to the Wii U. People are speculating that it will be available after the deadline for some other method, but likely that method will also include purchasing and downloading, not just getting it via a patch. However, it's still speculation; only the method of buying both games is known to be fact.

I'm guessing it's going to be a patch to make it so you're able to play with those using him, but can't access him any other way. So then they release the DLC a while later (summer maybe?) and have people pay for him.

The best part of that Duck Hunt reveal trailer was the "Game not compatible with Zapper" part. I was just laughing from how hilarious and silly that was. And the fact they combined that with the announcement of Duck Hunt for the Virtual Console at the end of it. That was a nice touch.

dmaster out.

Oh yeah that reminds me... My favorite part was actually DH's poster matching that of the Duck Hunt NES case. I was so fanboying over that lol.

Duck Hunt Dog and Jiggly Puff have been confirmed officially on the smash bros site. I know you guys already knew about them because you guys have the game but now they are on the site XD.:)

Huh? That's weird. I know Amazon Prime video streaming has lots of connection errors and stuff, but maybe it's all of Amazon? Or is it just not on there?

Anyone know why I can't place an order for the Wii U bundle on Amazon?

I think its because they sold out of pre orders awhile ago. I went to pre order last month and this was the case. Im not sure what country you're in, but I pre ordered my bundle through GameStop. I've never pre ordered through them before though, and the product page claimed 1 day shipping would arrive on the release date, so we will see if they're as good as Amazon.

This is pretty interesting and, thankfully, has no spoiler music or anything unrelated to what was mentioned in the 50-Fact video.

Btw do we have any word on which batch of Amiibos will have Lucario?

The 'waves' of amiibos confirmed so far are 1+2. Neither of them have Lucario unfortunately

I am so glad that they have a Duck Hunt stage! And that trailer was ballin

Amazon has lots of connection issues. Look at their Fire Phone for instance. Worst smartphone ever and does NOT support anything with Google at all. If you can't pre order on Amazon try a regular retail store like Game Stop or Walmart.:)

Sakurai, please give me a Lucario Amiibo. I WILL PAY WITH MY SOUL!!
Anyway, I'm so excited to go get a Pikachu Amiibo and level it up and NEVER use items and ONLY use Omega form stages just to see what happens once it encounters an item and a platform for the first time.

Anyone hear anything about the Mewtwo after the event Yet? If so how do we get him after the event ends in January?:)
