So this is like my newest idea for something fun, and I hope you guys enjoy it, because I think it'll be entertaining as heck.

Myself, Matryoshka and Delta will be all nuzlocking Pokemon Leaf Green at the same time in this competition, with a goal to be a Pokemon Master winner. Doesn't that sound exciting boys and girls? I think so.

How does one become a winner? Well, there are three different ways to win:
- The lowest time, as stated by the in-game clock (so no grinding)
- The most fan support (Vote in the poll for the guy you like the most)
- The fewest caught Pokemon killed (can't feed that Butterfree to the cannon for fodder now)

Whoever satisfies the most win conditions wins. If there is a tie, then the more popular player wins. If there is still a tie, then whatever.

Okay. So. Nuzlocke. Nuzlocke. Deep Breaths, DEEEP...Breaths...

So this is the great Nuzlocke Race.
I boot up the game and I am met with the great look on the professors face. Telling me all about the world of Pokemon, he asks me my gender.
You know what? Woman. I'm a strong powerful woman. This thread needs a little sex appeal.
My name? Hmmm. That's a toughie...hehe...80085 *Gets hits on the head* Okay okay. Delta. Fine.


I return to the real world and drop my Gamecube controller on the ground and run to the PC. I grab a potion and dive roll down the stairs. My Mom irons my clothes while I'm still wearing them and sends me on my way.
Writhing in pain, I roll into a patch of thick, luscious green grass. This withered old man stops me from rolling too far and drags me to the fabled Laboratory.

I see another kid there. Same age. Male. 5 foot or so. Brown hair. Name...Matripa. I sense he is...two people...not only competing against me but...each other. A strange creature he is.


The old man points at the three pokeballs on the table. By some, strange magnetic force, I am drawn to the first one on the table. It's a young healthy Bulbasaur that instantly takes a liking to me. I nickname it Squirtle in hopes it learns any water moves. (This is gonna confuse SO many people.)
I also change a few options around so I don't see Battle scenes and the text scrolls faster.
That Matripa kid seemed that he couldn't decide whether to pick the second or third ball. While deciding, his face was conjuring up all sorts of odd expressions. Like...two people with complete opposite expressions. His hand fell on the 3rd ball, knocking off the second. He held the ball up to me and challenged me to a battle.

I had to use my potion as it used Growl but we got through without dying. (Hahaha Matias.) He stormed off as if his legs were being controlled by two people and I start my adventure with Squirtle.

I walk out into the open air and walk towards Viridian city. On my wait I get two levels. Heal up at the Pokemon center and see what I can buy at the pokemart. Before I realized it I was delivering this package to Oak. I decide to take the experience rather than save time by jumping over the hills. I get another level and some pokeballs from Oak.

Breathing that phresh open air of Pallet I finally bump into my first Pokemon. A level 2 Rattata. I catch it with no worries and nickname it Charizard. (Soooo confusing) Squirtle gets another level and I rob that pokemart worker of his potion. I heal my pals again at the Pokemon center and start to listen to some dude about how to catch some Pokemon.

After 4 hours he gives me a tv (wtf!?) and I stumble to the patch of Grass near the Badge area thing. After a few steps I encounter a lv. 5 Spearow. After a few hits I catch it with a single pokeball. I nickname it Pidgey (Sooooo confuuuuuusing)
Next I see what attacks me in the Grass outside of Viridian Forest. Pfft, a Pidgey. I already gots something better...a BULBASAUR! I take it downtown and heal my friends up, approach Viridian Forest and save.

Alright, my third Nuzlocke! I decided to temporarily abandon my Black Nuzlocke so I could take part in this contest. The RNG decided who our starters would be, and I got Chimchar! Just kidding, I got lame old Charmander. I've never actually played through the game as Charmander yet, however, so I thought this would be kind of fun.

Hi there Oak! Remember me, from the last file? No? Okay, be that way. I stole my NO (Charmander...The nickname theme is doing the first thing that comes in my mind to conserve time) from him so I could get on with the game, but AAAAAAH, my rival, made me battle him. I approached this in a different way than the last two times, and went off with Growl first. That kind of helped me, because I was just 2 HP away from making a fourth run! Crits galore! I continued to own his little turtle until it was Scratched to a pulp.

I went to and fro Viridian for some parcel to deliver to Oak, getting NO to level 7. On my second run to Virizion, I encountered...DUDE the Pidgey! Kinda sucks, but I'll take it. I was redeemed when I encountered a Rattata named SNAP on Route 22 anyway. Wanted that Mankey, though. I also failed to catch my Route 2 Pokemon, which was a Weedle. Am I really having that bad of luck?

I grinded NO to level 10, and the other two to 6. I think it's finally time to head into the EVERFREE FOREST mmm? Let's see who we get...Weedle again! I actually caught it this time, and named it SUCKS, because it sucks but Caterpie sucks harder.

I ended my run at 44 minutes. I am not winning the time challenge :\

Viridian Forest wasn't that much of a big deal. Although my first pokemon was a Weedle, Pidgey pecked it out and we gained a lot of levels. Squirtle took out many of the trainers while Pidgey gained his experience from the wild Pokemon, that is, until Squirtle learned Vine Whip. Then it was just more of a cake walk.

I come out of the Forest and walk straight to the Pokemon Center. After healing, Squirtle gets a few levels from Brocks gym.

I walk out with my Boulderbadge and Fancy new TM case. I remember that I can get the running shoes right now, so I go over to this guy who calls himself one of the professors aides gives me some shoes and tells me to read the instructions.
Pfft like I need instructions for Rocket Shoes. WAIT. Rocket Shoes?
After flying round the Kanto region and landing in front of the Elite 4, I'm in a daze.
Did I win?
Lorelie turns to me and shakes her head.
Awww.
The rocket shoes send me back to Pewter and they run out of fuel. Hey...these could be used as running shoes!
I also remember that I haven't explored that patch of Grass yet, just outside of Viridian. I'll ignore it for now; time to fight some of these persky trerners.

Unfortunately, Charizard died. Good riddance. He wasn't needed anyway. However I did get trolled immensely but the neighborhood Jigglypuff. Infatuation and Sleep are a fatal mix. But we got through without anyone dying so its not all bad. I heal up at the Pokemon center, drop off Charizard and return to the route. I finish off any trainers, pick up the berries lying on the ground and also check out those patches of grass. It wasn't worth it really, a Pidgey and a Spearow. Squirtle did evolve though! So that's all good. I heal up another time before I face Mt. Moon, I stock up on some Potions, Antidotes, Paralyze heals and an Escape Rope. Can't be too careful.
I walk in a pick up the Bullet Seed TM pretty sharpish, but before long I find myself fighting the first wild Pokemon of the cave. Geodude. I catch it by sending it to sleep and name it Balboa.
Get it?
Rocky Balboa?
Cause Geodude is a Rock type?

I continue on but I stop after a few trainers, my PP for Vine Whip was running out already. Before heading out however I pick up a Potion, a spare Escape Rope and of course the Rare Candy. Fighting some more trainers, but avoiding the ladders down to the first few Team Rocket members, I arrive to the ladder where the Rockets are conversing.

I try to sneak past the first one but he catches me in the act. They all do, there is no point hiding it. Balboa takes them all out surprisingly quick. Even the fossil guy didn't stand a chance. I take the dome fossil because Kabutops and walk out into open air.

Unlike Bippa, Punches are the way to go. Although that is a high amount of damage you really don't need it early game. So be resourceful and pick Mega Punch. 80 base attack is nothing to complain about for Balboa. Don't waste your time with silly kicks. After picking up the Roar TM I head into the Majestic Cerulean City.

There isn't much to do besides getting that Rare Candy behind the Old guys house. So after that I head straight to the gym. Gotta buff up Squirtles pecks B|. He takes everything out with no problem and while he was at it he got a few levels. Coming so close to getting Razor Leaf but I can't complain. Although, I will. Razor Leaf should be lower down on the list. Water Gun was for Squirtle! Why isn't Razor Leaf lower down for Ivysaur!? So unfair!

I walk out of the gym with a shiny new Cascade badge and the Water Pulse TM. Another heal and I go fight my rival, with Balboa taking the lead. Squirtle would have done it if he had Razor Leaf.

Before I step onto the Nugget Bridge, that...man...walked? Down the bridge. His legs seemed to...vibrate...ever so slightly as he...thrusted them...high in the air with every step. He stamped in front of me and in a punch-like action, shoved a pokeball to my face.

Pidgeotto was a pain. It used Sand Attack and Rock Throw missed twice. Thankfully the most damage it could do was 3. Charmeleon was sent out next and as soon as I pressed the button, I remembered that it has Metal Claw. He goes first and knocks me down to red. Phew. Rock Throw did the same. Considering it was sure to use Metal Claw next, I switched to Squirtle as I could just give it a safe jab.
It used ember as soon as I switched and I think I was more confused than annoyed. Welp. Charmander goes down and Matripa sends out Abra. Easy Exp for Spearow and Rattata wasn't too bad either.

When Rattata lay on the ground motionless we all stared at it for a few seconds, then looked at each other. Before long Matripa threw something right at my cheek and...walked off.
I was a Fame Checker. I turn it on and look at the small screen. ONE LOUSY VOTE!? 9.09%!?
Harumph! It'll be a hollow victory. I better start rubbing people the right way.

Using a rented space hopper, I bounce around all the trainers and arrive at Bills house, capturing another few levels in the process. Route 24 and 25 turned up nothing good. Although I am banking on getting a Poliwag for the Jynx.

As I enter, expecting a huge marble statue of my face, I see a Clefairy clambering around the room. He notices my disappointed expressions and frantically explains his situation.

"Cleafairy Clefairy!" He shouts "Clef, Clef Clefairy" The pink creature continues making more and more hand gestures as he continues.

Finally, he enters the teleporter and I notice the PC boot up. I go over and it gives me two options:
"Return to normal"
"Don't return to normal"

I be a massive jerk and click "Don't return to normal"
In a few moments Bill comes out the other side.

He laughs in my face, throws me a ticket to the S.S Anne and pushes me out the door, still laughing.
I don't know what just happened but I going to this rad party!

Chapter 2:

I am way too slow in this game. After exploring Pewter, I grinded NO up to level 16. You know what that means! No evolved into Charmeleon! Or should I say...*shades*...CharNOleon...or CharmeleNO. Whatever, I was finally ready for the big bad boss that can be a gym leader even though he doesn't open his eyes. Brock Obama, I challenge you to a match in a children's video game!

I opened up with my Metal Claw NO and eventually swept out the Geodude. The real thing is the Onix! Rock Tomb was really the only thing that could do significant damage, and he missed one. So yeah, Metal Claw spam fo' dayz. Gimme my nooby badge and crappy TM, Mr. President. Onto the next badge!

Well, I first had to find a good Pokemon for the gym. Geodude surely wouldn't do, Zubat isn't good, and Clefairy is not only a long-shot but ANOTHER Normal Pokemon. There were no Grass or Electric types I could access except...Paras. I bought some Repels with my newly earned money, grinded off of the trainers, and headed down into Mt. Moon. But first, I went to check my Route 3 Pokemon. MIKU the Jigglypuff! All it knew was Sing, so it would extremely hard to train up...but I have a plan for the future.

Paras here I come! I repelled my way through the first floor, and went down to the first basement. This way, I had a 100% chance of getting a Paras! Now I just had to catch it. I tried my luck and Tackled the Lv. 7 Paras with Pidgey, afraid I could OHKO. I was way off, it just cut it's life in half! So now I couldn't hit it again without killing it, but I didn't really weaken it much either. Boo. I threw my Pokeball, and it didn't work. What's worse, is that I only had one left!

I sent out MIKU to put it to sleep, and it got mauled. I healed it with a Potion and tried again. It did less damage. Huh? OK, I'll take it. I also landed Sing AND put it to sleep! Obviously, the Pokeball worked. My heart was pounding, so I named it HEART. I should've called it Lessthanthree, but that wouldn't fit...

I spent the rest of my trip in Mt. Moon collecting items (Including a Rare Candy and an Ether) and grinding up on trainers and wild Pokemon. I exited the dungeon, full of confidence. I also talked to the two fighters. I only had two Pokemon that could learn their moves, so I decided to do it now. I gave NO Mega Kick and MIKU Mega Punch, its first attacking move. I healed, grinded some more, aaaaand...AAAAAAH! No really, AAAAAAH challenged me to a battle.

I was well prepared and brought out NO so I could whittle away Pidgeotto. Next up is Squirtle, so I brought out HEART and Bullet Seeded it. I noticed it didn't do a lot, but it resisted Water, so it's good. The other two were a piece of cake, as all of my other Pokemon are 2 levels higher than his.

Next time, we go do stuff on the bridge!

I got to Vermillion with no new Pokemon caught, got the Rare Candy, Old Rod, Bike Ticket and VS Seeker. Not checking the grass on the way here because I wanna see what I get in the pond.
AFTER HEALING A BUNCHA TIMES I get to the rival fight. Matripa asks in an extremely odd way if I want to fight and I interrupted because I was all like
"GET OUTTA MA WAY FOO AM ON A TAAAAM LIMIT!"
I slapped him and all of his Pokemon out of the way to cure the captain of death and jumped out of the window just before the ship explodes and I stuck on some sunglasses as I catch the HM disk from the sky.
Next I- GASP

SSSSSSAAAAAAANNNNNDDDDDDSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW!!!!!!111
Squirtle eats it and poops it out in a pokeball form. It is taught the ways of Dig and Brick Break.

I used the disk from the Titanic to hack my way through the tree, Balboa opened a rift through the gym and I jumped on Lt. Surges face. (Seriously, I got Magnitude 10)

Also Pidgey and Balboa evolved and I teleport to Dark Cave

Chapter 3:

I grind off of the trainers on the Nugget Bridge, and go check who my next two Pokemon are. I grabbed a Bellsprout off of Route 24, and planned to make her my HEART replacement. Her name is DATMOUTH. Seriously, dat mouth...Oh, and I also netted an Abra (BROCK) off of Route 25 with ONE Pokeball. After I grinded up DATMOUTH to a Weepinbell and got my ticket, I was ready for the gym. I started off with SNAP and tried to get some EXP off of Staryu with it. Unforunately, I somehow lost him, thanks to a critical hit or something. Oh SNAP! LITERALLY! Well, I finished him off with DUDE. Next Pokemon, the big bad boss, Starmie. This dude is FAST. I knew just the way to pull this off. We traded damage, and finally I was ready to deliver the finishing blow while both Pokemon were at red HP. Quick Attack would do the job. I made the worst mistake in my life and accidentally clicked Gust. Woops! For the remaining damage, I sent up HEART after DUDE died and won with Bullet Seed. Yaaaayz. Oh, and I did use DATMOUTH, just don't remember when...

Now that I've already lost two members, I've decided to make BROCK a temporary member until I get a better Psychic type. After his evolution, he could pretty much OHKO every Pokemon I encountered, so he makes a great sweeper. I also deposited MIKU in the Daycare Center. Maybe I'll pick her up at the end of the game. Oh, and another member to the team--WOOF the Meowth.

RIVAL BATTLE TIME! My team is extremely diverse, so I could easily play to whatever was sent out at me. I opened up with NO, and got off a Mega Kick and an Ember while taking minimal damage. For Wartortle, the obvious answer was DATMOUTH, which was an easy OHKO. For Kadabra, my only option was to respond with my own BROCK. His Sp. Attack is so high that I could just knock it out in two hits, even when the damage was halved! Finally, the time has come for Raticate. BROCK is too frail, NO was low on HP, so the only option was to go back with DATMOUTH. I KO'd it easily in a few hits. Easy boss is easy.

I massaged an old guy's back and got a CD thing. Cool. Apparently you can throw it at trees and cut them down. I was having a good time rubbing that old guy's back, but it was time to leave. I hugged the old guy, tears dripping down my face. Running off the ship, I waved as it departed.

Thank you, old guy...for everything...I'll make you proud!

Spoiler: Session #5

So I got to Dark Cave without Flash because I need every second I can get in this TIGHT race. I gave up on Sandshrew cause Voltorb man, Voltorb.
The darkness is really nothing to comment on. It was dark. Black. I had to feel around the walls to get around, paranoid that the game crashed when a trainer noticed me.
My first Pokemon was an Onix, which I thought was extremely lucky, but then I found out that I had no pokeballs.

After crawling around and evolving so I don't need my eyes anymore, I see light and I run towards it.
Ah~ Fresh air.
I looked to my left, to my right and avoid every trainer I could until I got to Celadon, where I wasted all my money on coins, got about 4 triple 7's and bought a Dratini. I nicknamed it Lefty, cause, y'know, dragons are left handed as we all know.
I spent another half hour collecting coins so I could get the Thunderbolt TM and teach it to Lefty. Which made training against Team Rocket grunts much easier in the basement of the casino.
Lefty was...left to deal with all the Rocket Grunts until he reached level 26. I stuffed all the Rare Candies I could down its throat and it evolved into a drug addicted temptress.
Balboa and Pidgey took care of the rest without any problem. Squirtle is just one level off from evolving however. Which suuuuuuucks!

After bulldozing my way through the hideout and eventually find the Lift Key and face Giovanni. He seems impressed that I managed to get through so easily. As he is yapping on I take the Silph Scope from the desk, take a look at it and walk off. Before I leave the room I realized that he would be a good source of experience so I threw out Balboa and hoped to get it done quickly. I'm on a time limit.

As soon as we began, I switched Balboa with Squirtle. They were both just about to level so, 2 birds with one stone. So I knocked out the first Pokemon (I forget) and Balboa learns Rollout which replaces Rock Throw. Squirtle finally reached Lv. 32 so Venasaur awaits!
Squirtle also took care of his Rhyhorn and Kangaskahn.
I drive out of the casino and make my way to Lavender.
Let's catch some Ghosts which we also can't fully evolve.

Chapter 4:

In this episode, way too much happens! First off, Gym 3. I decided that BROCK would be the star of the team, because wouldn't anyone wanna see Gym Leader vs. Gym Leader? So apparently, this dude was in the army. I couldn't exactly tell because he said "OMG I WAS IN THE POGEYMANZ ARMY!!" Idk, sounded like a little kid trying to roleplay. But I noticed he had a camouflage outfit on even though he's not even in the army anymore so that explains a lot. He told an old tale of how he zapped his foes with this, that and the other thing. I didn't really understand why he wasn't in the navy. Electric attacks hit water for double damage, so he could've just zapped the water an everyone in it for a bajillion damage. Anyway, I led off with BROCK and just did what he does best--hit for quick, powerful hits. Who needs Diglett when you have this beast? He said that he din't exactly have a badge to give me, so I kicked him an stole a badge off of his outfit. Sore loser much?

...OK, I take it back, I really wanted a Diglett. I found one and named it HECK, cuz I was like HECK YES when I got him. Apparently some guy who had too many Twinkies couldn't move and he was kind of stuck right where I had to go, so I decided to head into this giant trainer infested cave. Ew. Trainers. Anyway, before the cave I did get a Voltorb and a Sandshrew in the cave itself. Unfortunately, I just had to forget the names. I put HECK in the front of my party, letting him take some EXP. That was short lived, because he just decided to die on me fairly quickly. Oh well, I'll replace him with Sandshrew later. After hours in the cave, I found my way out, and I leapt for joy. I pretty much skipped Lavender Town and headed down the next route. I skipped the trainers to save them for later and headed straight into Celadon.

There were two amazing Pokemon I wanted--Dratini and Eevee. Since I got the worst starter, I was allowed to evolve my Eevee into the best evolution of the three possible--Vaporeon! I bought a Water Stone and a Leaf Stone at the Department Store and evolved my Eevee and Weepinbell repsectively. I realized Vaporeon was one of the best tanks next to Snorlax in the game, so I wanted to keep it for as long as possible. Oh, and I also nicknamed it YES. YES and NO...Fire and Water...may as well.

One more thing needed to be done--I wanted a Dratini. I sat down, relaxed, and started jamming at the slots, getting about 10 triple 7s. I bought the rest of my coins and purchased my Dratini! Since I invested almost all of my money into it, I named her MONEY. Unfortunately, in the middle of grinding, a critical hit Sludge melted away the little dragon. I threw my Game Boy to the side and buried my head in my hands. It's just a game...it's just a game...

I ran to the PC and released the have melted carcass of the Dratini. "Bye-bye, MONEY!" ...The PC is right.

I headed on straight to the Rocket Hideout, an whooped every trainer with my over leveled team. And there he stood, the big boss of them all--Giovanni. His stature...his eyes...he was an intimidating man. He laughed at the sight of a child storming in, and threw out his Pokemon. I swept his two first Pokemon easily, but then the real challenge came--Kangaskhan. He sure was a heavy hitter, so he kept a lot of pressure going on. I decided to lower its accuracy with Sand Attack, an then swept it with a barrage of Water Pulses. His last Pokemon defeated, he glared at me, for what seemed like an hour, and stormed out. A weird sort of scope dropped out of his pocket because of his powerful steps. I picked it up, thinking it could be useful.

In the next episode, we conquer the Pokemon Tower and Gym 4!
