Supreme Victors Box Breaks...Breaking the code

So I got some Supreme Victors packs today from a local store. I tried looking for a pattern, but too many of them had been bought so I ended up getting 4 Garchomp packs, 3 from the right side and 1 from the left (I did notice an odd reset on the left side though, wasn't ACAC or GRGR, might've been RCRC). I ended up pulling an Electivire FB Lv. X and a Blaziken FB Lv. X, which is odd because Electivire should be in a Charizard pack according to the videos. I also asked some people in my league who got boxes (one got a case) and they got different combinations of Lv. X's in their box, but they always got either 3 or 4.

My conclusion: Somehow it seems that there IS a pattern, but it's not consistent from box to box (or from case to case, as the videos would suggest). Or I just got lucky with the Garchomp packs, but given all the evidence towards the pattern I'm pretty sure it's something else.

I don't know if I posted here or PM to someone or what...but I sold some friends some boxes from my 3rd case as I typically do and they got different X combinations but they were in the same pack placements. Their boxes had either Absol/Rayquaza/Staraptor or Charizard/Blaziken/Electivire/Garchomp.

In my 2 cases and the boxes they opened....every 2 boxes has 7 X and 2 birds. For those 9 'hits'...6 are garchomp packs (4 X and 2 birds) and 3 are charizard packs (3 x). So..if that much stays the same from box to box and case to case...Garchomp packs are far and away your best chance at great value :)

I do believe that the pack types/Lv.Xs will change, because I got my Staraptor in a Garchomp Pack, but it was in the correct location.

There definitely is a pattern.

This is pretty cool because, assuming a freshly-opened shuffled box and an even distribution of each booster pack, if you get a Garchomp pack, you've got about a 1/3 chance of pulling something cool, and a little less than a 25% chance of pulling an X. So much for "ultra-rare".

Which brings up another point; it's pretty much harder to find their basic forms than it is to find their X. It was almost harder negotiating for Absol Gs as opposed to Absol Lv. X's...

I agree with this completely. Garchomp C, an Uncommon, was pulled only one out of 3/4 of a Box (27 packs). That is unheard of, when Electivire FB Lv.X was pulled twice and Blaziken FB Lv.X was pulled three times. x_x

dmaster out.

Ahh, I was watching and I could tell they were harder than before.

Awesome job breaking it for us. To bad Bennett and I didn't get to help. Can we help you with the MD box? :p

wait...

is TCGBreaker Jeff? >:O

I liek this code. :p Pulled Staraptor at PR yesterday... from Zard pack. Code = win.

Muddy: You know you're not guranteed any shinies in a box, right?

Wow. I pulled 4 level X, 2 shineys, and 4 holos from a new box in league. I only bought 8 packs too. This is awesome, thanks so much. Can you do the same with other sets?

When I saw the new video for the Supreme Victors box break on YouTube when comparing it to the Rising Rivals box break I've noticed that the person taping the video of the SV break was mixing the packs up after taking out the 1st row of the 2 stacks of the booster box. There's 36 packs in a booster box and in for the 2 rows there's 18 packs. 18 + 18 = 36.

The Rising Rivals box break was more consistent as the person taping the video didn't mix the packs at all and showed you which specific packs had what in them and he even most of the time accurately guessed which card(s) were in the packs before opening them.

The Supreme Victors break was different as he called wrong on a few packs while mixing the packs up, try to be as consistent as jaguar043786 from YouTube. Something tells me that there's no code for Supreme Victors like there was in Rising Rivals.

I've noticed google Edwards who breaks booster box codes for Magic: The Gathering also noticed that some sets are impossible to break the code for like in Conflux and Alara Reborn for example. He's been successful with Magic 2010 and Shards of Alara though.

What was the code for Rising Rivals because I might get a few packs and now a days I don't have much money?
Its too bad Supreme Victors doesn't have a solid code...

Yea..too bad. I mean...I had to open 29 packs from my 2nd case (6 boxes) to get 21 Lv X, 6 Secret Rares, and 1 shining. Clearly there is no code at all!

How do you tell if they are repeats or just the packs follow the pattern?
Like when it is R,G,C,A,C,A. Does the Second C,A, go to the front or the first.

Also What was the Rising Rivals code? You didn't say or show a pattern except state the exact card that came out.

I make the 4 pack reset the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th pack of the row to try to make it easier to follow in the SV videos.

RR code...watch the videos, look close to see where the reset is, take notes. And I did not state the exact card that came out. I either said the pack would contain a lv X or a Rotom insert...did not say which one. For the SV vids, namely case 2, I called the exact level X and secret rare birds with near (if not) perfect accuracy.

After taking notes and stuff, it failed for me in a dutch store.....Instead of LV.X I got the basic versions which is nice too I guess lol

I guess I'm better of buying blisters since I got 1 CHairzard G LV.X and 2 SHinies from them after buying just 2.

^It works for a box, I think. I got a Rayquaza pack after my PR, and got a holo, and the guy I bought it from said that the guy before me pulled a Lv. X. >_> IDK, we'll see what happens over the next while. Just make sure you do this when Advent of Arceus comes out. Maybe there'll be a way to pinpoint Arceus cards. :O

i got my box today, and one thing is for sure, the lv.x are always in Garchomp/Charizard packs. So it makes it a little easier to get a lv.x or reprints etc. Thanks alot man!
