3-3-1 Tangrowth X (COL Tangrowth)
1-1 Shaymin X (Landforme)
1-1 Vespiquen UD
1-1 Metapod HGSS
2-2 Sunflora HGSS
1 Azelf
1 Uxie

Energy:

14 {G}
4 DCE
3 Rescue Energy

T/S/S

3 PONT
3 Bebes Search
4 IQ
2 Collector
3 E-belt
1 Palmers Contribution
3 Pokemon Communication
2 SSU
2 Professor Oaks Visit

Basic Tankgrowth strategy. Load up energy on Tangrowth w/belt and tank, tank, TANK!!. Do not suggest Meganium Prime, I do not wish to use it.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

If you want to replace the Cherrim line, you could use Vespiquen UD. This stops bench attacks like Garchomp's Dragon Rush and T-Tar's Darkness Howl. You could also try something like Roserade to confuse or poison your opponent. If not you could add in a Shaymin UL for late game energy moving or an Uxie for draw power.
Also I suggest adding a Palmer's Contribution in case Shaymin or a Tangrowth falls and 2 collector for speed. Otherwise it looks pretty solid.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Well i can deffintley see two problems with this deck. One you can get tangrowth x out of your discard pile two you would have a hard time getting shaymin x leveled up.

Okay so take 5 grass and put in 3 switch and put in 1 palmers contrubtion in and put in 1 primer ball.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

I like the pamlers idea for this deck. One thing you could run is Uxie, if you have some for draw power, and take out 1-2 IQ's. Luxury ball would be nice in here or the premier ball or both. You definitely should think about Collectors. Since you have a heavy basic line, why not be able to get them out easier? Shedninja from SV is a good tech to stall with if you are playing SPs or what not and Parasect SV can get you easy energy out at the beginning of the game. Good Luck
Edit: Or maybe a flower shop lady instead of the palmers. Your choice.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Unless my math is really bad, I keep coming up with only 57 cards. Maybe add in a Lucian's Assignment or level max. With as much energy as you will have out, having some mobility for that energy could be a huge boost, and the level max is obviously for shaymin. Or if you really like Celebi as a starter add 1 more for a more consistent start.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Yea, there's only 57 cards. So you should add a palmers/flower shop lady to make it 58. The Premier ball to make it 59. And add a third collector for 60?

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Well, 4 Bebe's can lead to major dead draws, so take out :
-1 Bebe's

Uxie Lv. X is really good, and is staple. It's very easy to get out, and then you do a lot per turn.
+1 Uxie X

So,
-1 Bebe's
+1 Uxie X

If you don't have X, use a Uxie LA. Again, it's good for almost the same reason. Hope this helps!

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Uxie Lv.X doesn't work well with Tangrowth as its just too hard to set up and takes up vital bench space. I do agree with adding an Uxie in place of a bebe though.
Palmer is better than flower shop lady in this deck as it can be beneficial to leave energies in the discard to use with big growth and Palmer allows for more flexability for this. I generally find 2 collector, but a third is possible.
I agree with adding a luxury and premier ball though.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

The error was in my counting. I missed the 3 Rescue Energy in my deck. I have no Palmers BTW

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Well with no palmers you may want to seriously consider premier ball, pokemon rescues, or flowershop lady to get tangrowth out of the discard pile.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

^ Thats what Rescue Energy is for. It returns all the cards (Including Tangrowth X) back to my hand. w/BTS out I play them again.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Yea, i get that, but what if they lost remover your rescue energy then knock out your active? It's always safe to have a back up plan on getting your pokemon back that the deck revolves around. you may want to consider Unknown Q for this deck as well. Gives you free retreat on Shaymin and celebi.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

^ I want to be ablke to retreat them for extra energy attachment when I use big growth.

RE: Tankgrowth (Masters Any)

Ever considered playing Leafeon Lv. X for the extra energy attachment?

I see. However, if you can get one, I would highly suggest playing it. Considering you play CoL Tangrowth, it would be a very nice damage booster.

You can combo Leafeon Lv. X with the RR Leafeon. I know that it's a different strategy, but you can heal 40 in one turn. Maybe it's not the best idea, but there you can combine two fine attackers, Leafeon Lv. X does good damage, and Leafeon RR can attach energies also with its attack, so you can heal 60 in one turn and then use Leafeon Lv. X or Tangrowth CL for heavy damage.

Hope it helped.

I would think if anything Leafeon Lv. X would be used as a tech, suggesting it as an attacker would alter the entire idea of the deck.
