Are you guys able to view that website? Our McDonalds is promoting Pokemon in their Happy Meals for the first time in NZ. Noticed it on TV so decided to visit their website to view them. Anyway if you click on a toy, it'll reveal the Pokemon cards they give out. I thought they'd give out promos, but those look like plain commons/uncommons from an ordinary set. Is that actually what they are? lol

Note: I quit TCG in 2006 so I'm not familiar with them anymore.

edit: Oh nevermind. Googling 'Pokebeach Mcdonalds' got me the answer lol. I thought America had plenty of Pokemon promotions with Maccas but I see this was your first too. Must've got it confused with BK promotions or something. So they cards aren't actual promos, but they are unique? Also lol our Maccas is only giving 5 toys...were's Pikachu and the Zoros?! lol :p

Can you take a look at those cards? (here)
I want to buy it, but most of the cards (especially the Gyarados) look like they are fakes.
What do you think? They are fake or not?

I don't know... Something about the cards from the EX sets doesn't look legit, maybe the font or the size of the energy's symbols. Also, I'm afraid because in the past I got plant of fake cards from the EX sets.

yeah i'll admit even Legit EX series energy symbols looked messed up kinda but most fake EX series cards I've seen have much more bloated looking Energy symbols

There legit...and....HOLY

Shining Gyarados FOR THAT MUCH...that is a steal lol

I know fake cards when I see em...because I get them all the time :p so those are real. Fakes would have random spelling and font errors. Energy symbols would be messed up (size wise.)

What concerned me was on page 17 the Grass energy cards the set emblem is in the middle of the void on half the cards and to the left side of the void on the rest. But it didn't look like any of the other black ink was offset on the card.

Most likely when the newest set, Noble Victories, is released which is said to be due in November.

Thanks alot. Because Donphan and Dragons might be viable since Kyurem can counter agianst the Donphan and the Reshiram, making it a perfect contender this format

Don't know where else to ask this, so....

I've been trying to find an unopened box of Japanese Base Set booster packs, and have not had much luck anywhere. Does anyone have any leads on where I might can find this item?

Normally I'd forward you to the Merchandise Help thread for the answer, but I did a quick trawl. At the moment your best bet is Yahoo Japan and a middleman, but it /will/ get pricey.

There is a box up right now, sealed, on Yahoo Japan. I could forward you the link via PM if you'd like.

I'd appreciate that. I usually don't have much trouble searching yahoo auctions japan, but couldn't figure out how to specify base set in japanese.

That could be because it's not officially out yet, but if you try looking again in a few days they should be there.
