I've been searching the interwebs for a forum or page that does this kind of thing for a little while now, but to no avail. What I'm looking for is everyones opinions on what cards are going to become better and which ones will get worse when Plasma Blast comes out.
Go ahead and sound off...I want your thoughts.

I don't think your sending out the right question.

August 28th there will be a rotation. You will only be able to play with cards from the Next Destinies set to the most recent set.

What are your thoughts and deck decision now that the rotation is almost drawing near?
Will your deck be broken? Or will you be able to keep your deck up to date?

Your thoughts to what this change will bring is welcomed.

(Something like that) no?

Or you can just answer his question instead of redoing his topic.

I believe that Ho-Oh and Victini ex will both go up in stock due to the hype behind Genesect.
For the same reason, Blastoise and Keldeo will fall.

^The irony in this post is hilarious! Anyways back on topic! Ho-Ohs price will actually fall because e switch is being rotated.

Edit: ignore the irony thing!

OH, I thought you mean regular switch. My mistake.

I think that plasma energy may go up in price and it activates Genesects ability

Too many just lying around for that to happen.

I didn't get the irony. Anyway, I've heard that E. Switch may be reprinted in Blast.

I think they'll definitely reprint some of those often used trainers... Energy Switch and Pokemon Communication need to be reprinted.

Also, whats everyones thought on Heatran EX.
Stock Up, Down, or Level after Plasma Blast?

Blastoise doesn't even have a disadvantageous matchup against Genesect, Genesect probably isn't even tier 1, and fire does really poorly against anything BUT Genesect; for that reason I don't think Blastoise will get any worse and Fire won't get any better.

Completely ignoring the fact that blastoise has grass weakness is a little much don't you think? The fact that your acceleration can get taken out for 3 energy and a catcher/plasma manual attachment can be pretty devestating to the deck. Darkrai did it for 3 energy, a laser, virbank, and a dark claw, and that was possible (and a valid play to take out blastoise with darkrai) so what makes you think 3 energy and a catcher method (which this deck has plenty of) isn't? I'm not saying it's going to be bdif, but Genesect/Virizion is getting heavy underestimation imo.

OHKOing Blastoise is really nothing new. Yes, VG OHKOs it with less effort once set up; but other decks could consistently OHKO Blastoise once set up anyway. That didn't necessarily make Blastoise an easy matchup for them; Blastoise's raw power makes just a single turn of having it up enough to OHKO anything and once it gets rolling Blastoise often gives you 3 turns or less (often less since you run out of anything with enough energy to take out 'Stoise) to hit a Catcher, or you lose.

Let's say VG has a fully charged Virizion and Genesect up. Blastoise gets up a single Blastoise with BKEX out (let's say VG missed a Catcher, just set up Genesect this turn, Blastoise just got set up, whatever; its pretty common). Blastoise takes out Genesect and VG is forced to attack with Virizion to try and set up again. If Blastoise hits a(nother) Catcher its game; they take out the second Genesect then Virizion on the following turn. Even if they don't, they still go up 4 prizes in 2 turns and leave VG with only single charged Genesect.

Stock the heck up on Silver Bangle, keep most of your staples (as there's a possibility of reprints of P Communication and E switch) and stock the heck out of Tool Scrappers.

Lower your Hypno Count because it's going to be worthless with VirGen everywhere.

OUT of Tool Scrappers? Tool Scrapper is going to be way better after Plasma Blast and the rotation.

Right, I think we're making the same point. All I'm trying to say is that VG isn't getting enough credit as a deck, if it sets up before blastoise and can consistently take out squirtles (with 6-8 ways to do it it shouldn't be that hard), or stream G-Boosters it'll win. If blastoise sets up before Genesect gets a chance to it'll stream Ballista's and win.

Like most matchups in this format, getting first turn is very important, and getting a good start is important. Miss either (especially the second) and you're in trouble.

Your previous post made it seem to me like you thought VG had a vastly positive matchup against Blastoise (which a lot of people seem to think) which I disagree with. And how exactly are you going to stream an Ace Spec? Aside with that, I agree completely with the first turn thing. Its sad how often games are determined by a single coin flip. :(

Shadow Triad.

Tool Scrapper is receiving new hype but some say it will always be a "theorymon card" and decks will never really run more than 2 anyway so if you can sell them for much it could be worth selling now/soon.
