TDK-Help on perfecting my list for worlds

I am going to try the 3 float stone/1 switch because in some situations float stone is better than switch and running 3 float stone can up the probability of drawing into it. This can help setting up keldeo/float stone quicker. Even though once you have keldeo/float stone out, you don't need anymore float stone, In which case switch would be better, but with the rise of tool scrapper 3 float stone is what you may need.

Also the reason I play 4 Colress machine is to up the chances of having it in your opening hand. This is because if you start with kuyrem you need a Colress machine to pull of an attack on T1. If you do pull of a T1 frost spear, and you pull of a blizzard burn next turn, you can potentially KO any ex on T2.

Why not take out a colress and add in a plasma grunt. It discards plasma energy or colress machine and is straight draw.

Quick personal thoughts:
-2 Switch

+1 Keldeo EX
+1 Float Stone

Due to Gothitelle/Accelgor being our nationals winning deck, you can expect it to be a big play at worlds, probably the best way to counter this deck is 2 Keldeo, so if a Keldeo were to be catchered out, you can just use another Keldeo to Rush-In Retreat to a preferable attacker, 3 Float Stone makes this process more consistent. I actually really hate switch in this deck if there is an option that can allow to not only have infinite switches but counter probably the BDIF and a top contender for worlds.

More personal thoughts:
-1 Plasma Ball (Ultra Ball is better for the search of Keldeo and energy in the discard)
-1 Colress Machine (Plasma Energy can very easily be in-hand and there are better cards to put in)
-1 Blend Energy

+1 Ultra Ball
+1 Tool Scrapper (good in all the major match-ups except Blastoise)
+1 Lightning Energy (counter to Enhanced Hammer)

I disagree on only running 3 Colress machine since it will lower your chances of getting a T1 frost spear. I think running 4 is the absolute minimum for the deck.

Playing 1 lightning could be good but why not play just 1 water? Water is needed more in the deck since kyurem is your main attacker and lightning can only be used on Thunderus which you won't be using as much as kyurem.

So you can have the chance to regain your energy rather than your opponent discarding energy off thundurus with enhanced hammer. And with sableye, it makes for an effective rinse and repeat strategy not giving you a chance to regain energy. Another reason for it to be a lightning energy is that raiden knuckle costs a lone lightning energy while if you wanted to attack with kyurem, your opponent would always have the chance to discard energy since you would run a lone water energy and frost spear costs 2 energy.

For me, running 1 lightning energy depends on how many players will play an 'anti-plasma' deck. In my opinion i don't think that many players will since their match ups against darkrai and blastoise/black kyurem aren't so good. I know my friend is playing an anti-plasma deck, but at our nationals he failed compleately by playing 4 plasma and 2 'other' mach ups. Even though he beat 3 out of the 4 TDK, he lost against the other decks. So will people play anti-plasma variants?

Not sure, but I would think you will still see a mix of Blastoise, Darkrai, Plasma, Gothitelle-Accelgor, etc. just like at the U.S. Nationals. On the other hand, in preparation for Nats, I "expected" to play alot against Blastoise and Plasma decks. I ended playing against more Darkrai, a few Plasma and some rogue decks. Lol.

Personally, I would not plan to play any anti-Plasma deck at Worlds, just too many other things to consider...

I agree, it ruins consistency if you play cards to go up against an anti plasma deck. Sure they can be useful if you play against an anti plasma deck but the odds are you won't. I would prefer playing more cards that up consistency or some nice tech cards. Any ideas?

Typically, I have about 4-6 card slots reserved for "nice" techs in most of my decks. In some decks, you would find the typical Ht Lasers and VCGs, Hammers, Max Potions, etc. In some cases, I may even use Pokémon as techs. In the case of a KDT (I really do think Kyurem should get "top billing" moreso than Thundurus EX) deck, I also run 2 Absol as another key tech. Absol has become my favorite secondary attacker. After initial attacks by Kyurem, Absol can usually 1HKO any opponent's Poké,

By the way, you may find that adding 1 Tool Scrapper to your list could be very useful too.
