Basically I want a fast hard hitting balance team (doesn’t everyone) but my one wish with this team was to include my 2 favourite pokemon from the new generation… (Galvantula and Chandelure)

Evs: 248 Speed / 248 Sp.Atk / 14 HP
-Compound Eyes- = win!
Item- ? I have no idea :/

Energy ball

So obviously for those who don’t know his ability ‘compound eyes’ makes him godly. It raises the accuracy of his moves buy 30%…so thunder now has a 91% chance of hitting, instead of 70%!
Bug Buzz to sweep the main users in this VGC (Hydreigon, etc) and energy ball in case someone switches in a ground pokemon!
And volt switch, because it’s a hit and run, and with his other weakness being fire can switch in on my other favourite….


Chandelure #609

Evs: 248 Speed / 248 Sp.Atk / 14 HP
-Flash Fire- = potentially if I switch in to save my Galvantula
Item- Choice Specs/Choice Scarf (scarf for more speed is what i'm favouring, as its already modest natured)
Psychic/Energy ball? (Galvantulas already got it so I don’t want it again?)
Shadow Ball
Overheat
Flamethrower/ Fire Blast (accuracy or power?)

Stops Fighting type pokemon, and sweeps or damages a lot of others! Big hitter, easily gets destroyed by a few common attacks. But a base special attack of 145...you cant really not have this ghost in your team, he’s cool, has huge power…and his name is similar to mine

1 Bulk up, and I’m definitely going to hurt someone, mach punch to finish and hurt fast frail pokemon! Now drain punch is in their because of flame orb, as I don’t have leftovers I need a healing move, and as drain punch got a bit of a boost this generation its obvious I’m going to pick it.
Now, damage or cover…I am favouring payback, just so I can shut up and scare ghost pokemon, but stone edge with this guys power….its hard to resist, but I think payback is going to be the 4th attack.

A big Giant Sweeper, I was thinking of putting n Outrage but Dragon Pulse is far better for the long game *face palms*…actually putting Outrage in is better than Dragon Pulse, as this pokemon is being used for last game sweep?
Either way, this guy is to do serious damage and sweep their last pokemon off the field.


And the last 2 I struggled with…

This is guy is to hold them up and take damage. Spore, then rage powder, then giga drain or protect (depending on how many moves it will take my other pokemon to KO or damage them a serious amount)

If i feel they will be using a trickroom team, this uy will be called up instead of Amoongus, and thats literally whats this guys is for!


Now after writing that all out and looking at my team…I seriously lack a decent pokemon (other than Conkeldurr)for a Attack pokemon. If anyone has any in put or ideas it would mightily be appreciated, but all I’m saying is Galvantula, Chandelure are staying

Just because galvantula has compoundeyes, that does not make him "godly." His special attack is still decent. I would drop it for a different electric type such as zebstrika or thundurus. Also if you switch in whismicott if you think they will run a trick room team, why on earth would you run speed ev's? Besides, prankster gives a +1 priority to any move that is non-attacking (all of your whismicotts moves).
 
Elecktross would be a better pick over Galvantula, especially if you like the idea of a Physical attacker using Jolt Switch & Wild Charge.

Remember that you only need 4 Pokemon per battle, and they need to cover each other's weaknesses.

Anyways, the team seems pretty solid.
 
for your whimsi, if he's for a trick room counter, just make him a sub-seeder. and give him a mental herb.

for conkeldurr put payback instead of stone edge, because as slow as conkeldurr is, its power will be uped by that and the guts. but instead of bulk up, although i do see where you're going with it, id put facade. at 70 power, and doubled because you have a status condition, and then added more power because of guts, will give a real hard hitting move.

Hydrigon id give him the wise glasses instead of the life orb, and for the moves, id do the following,
Focus Blast
Flamethrower
Dark Pulse
Dragon Pulse

for chandy, its a bad idea to double up on types for vgc. you want as diverse a moveset as possible. and id give him the expert belt because of it. so id do this.
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Flamethrower
Energy Ball (yes someone else has this move, but this covers three of his five weaknesses and has good power and can lower their sp.d as can shadow ball and psychic.)

for your Galvantula, he's not weak to ground because he's part bug type. so instead of that, put thunder wave to be annyoying.

as for your amoongus, it seems pretty good.

but these are just my opinions. do what you see fit best.
 
Thank you very much for the feed back, if i get time at the end of making my VGC team i may swap Galvantula as i do need a physical attack, and Zebstrike as he fill my need for a electric pokemon and a physical attacker (and hes quite fast and not as frail as Galvantula)
Conkeldurr is having Payback over stone edge :D and Facade...i totally forgot about that, so going to have a think about that idea for now :)
Hydreigon has now got Wise glasses...(once i find them in the game) and i'm still thinking of his attacks, just doing research of videos on youtube and assessing because outrage, would be the last move sweep if hes left on his own!?
And my Chandelure has got Energy ball now, as (for the reason you stated) it covers a few more of his weaknesses

but the Galvantula is staying for now and his attacks are the same, played a few matches with him, and volt switching to Chandelure and recieving a 'fire attack' is always nice :p
and the little Whimiscott, i'm still thinking abput all his attacks and everything, as he is there to scare/stop trick room teams and hes kind of there for a decoy (to lure them into using fire pokemon and fire type moves) which then makes me think to put surf or something onto Hydreigon?
